PM if you wanna join in
"Dad just admit it, you were feeling paternal and thats why you called!" Sandra teased the feral beast on the other end of the phone. That is how everyone else saw him but he was just the big ol' fluffy ball of Dad too her. At this present time he was, as usual, shouting down the phone, but she just smiled to herself as she moved the receiver away from her ear.
The house she had managed to pick out was in a pretty rough area of Brooklyn down a nice avenue. She had picked it becasue of the size of the bedrooms, of which there were four, two living areas and two bath rooms. Of course the two biggest rooms had ensuite bathrooms and were both big enough to have a kingsize bed and still have plenty of room for otherstuff.
The house I acquired, i'm interviewing house mates, and i'm making ends meet especially from the money you left me," she smiled to herself, it hadn't taken much for him to hand over the sum of funds. After all he had been working as a contract killer for easily a hundred years and add to that a career in the military and she was pretty sure that SHIELD was paying him. Sandra knew ol' Dad wasn't strapped for cash just as sure that he only had it becasue he didn't know how to spend it.
Though she had plenty of space she would probably only end up having the single house mate, the house was easily capable of housing two full families. The house itself had come into her possesion when an old friend died, and by old the guy was easily 90, alone and just looking for someone to remember him, and that is where Sandra came in. He had passed away a few days after leaving his house to her, what a shame.
Anyways don't change the subject, i may have got a permanent residence in Brooklyn but that doesn't mean i won't work for shield, if you would just tell me where to live then i would have done! she shouted back at him, she wanted to work with her Dad so bad, and she would have followed him all the way to where ever he was if she hadn't lost his damn scent.

The phone threaten to snap under his ever increasing grip as he listened to the teasing voice of his daughter. Huh, his daughter. He never thought he'd be saying that and here he was arguing with her down the phone about nothing at all. He never could figure out what to say to her, even now he was barely holding back his temper.
"I CALLED TO MAKE SURE YOU WERN'T WASTING ALL MY MONEY"
The phone cable went taunt as he almost tore it off the wall as he stepped back trying to calm himself. He knew she wasn't, there were a multitude of accounts in different names and she only had access to the one in hers. He just didn't know what else to say. Creed knew where she lived, he'd followed her for a few days as she'd looked at places to move in, always making sure to stay out of sight and downwind. He was sure she had discovered him a few times when the wind changed but he was always gone in the next moment.
FOR THE LAST TIME...
He took a deep breath,
"For the last time you don't know the whole story, one day you will and then you'll know why you can't be like me..."
As she began to talk again, he growled, wondering if she even listened to anything he was trying to tell her. Before she could say anymore he slammed the phone receiver back down so hard he pulled the phone from the wall, leaving it hanging in the corridor. An angry Creed stormed off down the corridor looking for someone, anyone to vent some fustration on...

The phone suddenly went dead, and right in the middle of one of her fathers great wise old lectures. It couldn't have been better timed because as soon as the dial tone met her ear there were footsteps coming towards her house.
They were heavy footfalls, Not trying to hide they sounded male, not always a bad sign and there was a somewhat subtle finesse about thembest get to that! With Sandra's interest well and truly peaked she headed for the door.
"Hello?" She said sweetly at the oriental gentleman that now stood on her door step, Sandra had opened the door even before he had a chance to knock. Dressed in a suit sharp enough to cut bread, hair set in a stylised perfection and skin as smooth as a baby's behind. There was however a sadness in man's blue eyes, a sadness that despite what the person that holds it tries there is no way to hide it. No matter how well the person dresses, what kind of smile they present or how perfect their skin is and the man in front of her sure did have perfect skin! In fact he was probably a model though definitely not gay.
She smiled at the man as her mind raced through the various names she had seen on the replies for the housemate advert that she had posted in both the newspaper and on the internet, only one sprung to mind that fit the profile.
"Mojima, Kiryu Mojima?"
If by chance that this was actually just a Neighbor coming to welcome her to the neighborhood, she kind wished he wasn't because he looked like the kind of person she could live with. by that she meant one thing, clean.

Kiryu stood outside the house looking up at it, and back down at the address he'd pulled out of a newspaper he'd been reading the other day. Though his English reading wasn't great, he'd always made it a point to remember food, toilets or restrooms as they were known in America, and places to rent. He was fairly certain this was the right place, he'd asked enough people for directions. He quickly checked over his appearance. He'd managed to get his suit cleaned, which had been an interesting experience as it was his only set of clothes. His hair was nicely styled, courtesy of some newly acquired hair gel, and some fresh deodorant made sure that he smelt good too.
Good nothing says homeless guy Since being thrown out Japan he'd had a hard time finding places to stay, he didn't have a lot of American money, so he couldn't afford to rent on his own, and had mostly been breaking into places or finding park benches for places to sleep, though luckily it'd only been a couple of days before he'd found the add in the paper, and now he he was.
He pulled out his phone and checked the time, it was five mins off the time he had arranged with the girl, when he had called up, to meet. He swiftly made his way to the front door and raised his arm to knock on it, but before his knuckles could even touch it, the door swung open. Stood the other side of it was a very pretty girl, no, gorgeous, though that still felt like an understatement, looking girl. Everything about her seemed perfect, her figure, her smell, but it was her eyes that struck him the most, green with hints of amber, unique like his. Much nicer than the common dark brown eyes that he was used to back home in Japan. He thought for a moment about home and his family, he hoped they were ok, he hadn't heard anything from there yet, he had to find a way back...
"Hello?" She said sweetly. The words snapped him back to reality, and he smiled at her. He hoped he hadn't just been stood staring for too long. She didn't give any signs that he had. That's good. He thought. Now try not to come across anymore like some sex crazed perv, and maybe I can sleep indoors tonight. He wasn't really sex crazed, though he knew how staring at a pretty, gorgeous, girl could give that impression. learnt that the hard way
"Mojima, Kiryu Mojima?" She asked in that sweet voice. "Yes, we spoke on the phone, I hope I'm not too early." He replied. She shook her head and invited him in. Now all he had to do was pass the interview

Richard sat on a park bench looking at the paper he'd just found. He'd been in America now for a few days. He'd spent most of his time going in and out of clothe shops to make sure he had a change of clothes and good bag to carry it all in. The only thing he needed now was a place to stay. He had read a few of the ads in the paper but only one caught his eye, but that was more due to the fact he knew where it was and the rent wasn’t too bad. Not that money was an issue for Richard, after all he was a thief and stealing things of worth and selling them, were what he was good at.
Richard looked at the addresses of the house, one last time and made his way there . As he began to walk down the street the house was on, he could have sworn he saw the man from the plane go into the house he was about to go and look at. He stood there for a second trying to remember what the man had looked like but all he could remember was that the man was Asian.
Richard knocked on the front door of the house, he was wearing his cleanest and newest clothes so as to not look like a bum, after all he had spent the last two days living in a park. But he was still wearing his biker jacket despite all the dirt on it. He must have sprayed a can deodorant on himself as he had walked to the house, to hide the fact that he hadn’t showered in two days, but he wasn’t sure if it had worked.
As Richard tugged at his blue polo shirt, the door opened and standing in front of him was the vision of a goddess. He looked at her for a second taking in everything about her, it seemed as if she was flawless. Her eyes were the best thing he thought a strange colour just like his own. He was almost cretin that she was staring at his eyes and he stared at hers. Richard felt he should say something before the silence got uncomfortable. “Hi I’m Richard, I read in the paper you looking for roommates”. As he said that all that went through his mind was god she’s fine.

Sandra gave her self a little mental high-five as she guessed the name right. The guy seemed nice enough, and he did only stare for a minute before averting his gaze, meaning that he at least had some modicum of self control. Self control being one of the main features of her potential room mates.
Despite the way she held herself and acted the appearance of a person didn't general effect her judgment but this man looked good, not jump in my bed good, but the kind of person that should be dating a model. Though he did have a hint of greenery hanging in his scent as if he had recently been camping or, she mused, had been sleeping rough.
As she shook his hand the softness of his skin matched her own, just. After bing taken a back slightly she opened the door wider and showed him into the interview space. Which was merely the over sized dinging room with it hard oak table with a single chair on either side.
Kiryu moved through the house with her in tow and she took the opportunity to look him over, his gait and swagger being noted. He moved with someone that had once held some power, maybe had once been feared. The man in front of her walked with a confidence that only came to those that held some kind of status and wanted everyone to know about it.
The room around them was mostly filled with oak furniture, a large cabinet full of old china with pristine glass doors, whilst on the opposite wall sat a huge dark framed window to the outside world which was skewed by a net curtain, a set of lights hung from the middle of the room and a door leading to another room.
As the two of them sat down the door bell rang again, having been preoccupied with getting a feel of who this Kiryu Mojima was had distracted her from the sound of another person approaching. As she went to answer the door she apologized to Kiryu for the interruption and as she did caught the scent of expensive deodorant, her interested once again peaked as she opened the door.
As the air of this man reached her nose and got quickly dissected by her mind she saw a man coated in his own sweat, with a bit of mucky face and a skanky biker jacket. This guy needed to wash and wash hard, though he didn't look like the kind of guy that had always been homeless, only recently. Her time on the streets were a distant memory but a very valuable experience, she would probably would still there had it not been for her daddy's funding.
Whether it had been in pity or because she was really desperate for a house mate, or whether she just wanted to give this potential homeless guy a chance she invited him in. When she remembered that she was already about to conduct an interview,
"Alright Richard," she said with a smile noticing that even when she showed him through the House he didn't take his eyes of her and he paid the Price as the man walked into the banister. With a giggle she showed him to a seat next to Kiryu and she noted the two of them exchanged confused looks.
When everyone had taken their seats Sandra let them know how this was going to work.
Alright Boys I'm going to score you on how you answer my questions and if i am satisfied with your scores then we will discuss moving in,
First question:- What have you been doing for the past month, profession, I ask this because I don't want any riff raff traipsing through my house
Second Question:- What do you do and can you afford to pay the damages deposit and first months rent up front?
Third question:- Would you be tempted to steal my underwear? Now answer honestly...
fourth Question:- What are you eating habits like? I can not stand vegetarians, it is stupid eat the meat that needs to be eaten! am i Right!
Fifth Question:- There are four fridges, if one fridge is empty and one fridge is full and one fridge half full, which fridge is yours?
With the first five questions out of the way she waited for their answers as she sat back and lounged in her chair.

As they shook hands Kiryu noticed that Sandra had a pretty strong grip, especially for a girl. Her skin was also very soft, possibly softer than his own. He liked his soft hands, and so did the girls back home, on more than one occasion he'd managed to get a happy ending to a night out due to his soft touch, though it probably wouldn't work on her. He briefly thought about his chances of hooking up with her, if she wasn't the landlord of course, but something about her said that he'd have more chance getting blood out of a stone than he did getting with her.
She let him in, pointed out the interview room, and followed behind him. Is she checking me out? Kiryu mused at the idea, but knew that wasn't what was going on. She was trying to get a read of him. People in his line of work did it all the time, being able to read someone on how they moved was a big help in working out how a deal would go down, and how people would act. He wondered what she would read from him,i][confidence probably[/i].
They entered the room. It was nice, and clean. That was good, Kiryu hated staying in messy places. The oak furniture was nice too. The china in the cabinet seemed out of place though, not that Kiryu knew anything about this girl, but she didn't seem the type to collect old china, perhaps it'd belonged to a relative, mum or dad maybe? he thought. He sat down in a chair at the table, and Sandra sat in one opposite, then the doorbell rang. Sandra seemed as surprised as Kiryu. She apologized and went to answer the door.
Few seconds later Kiryu could smell, what must have been, a full can's worth of deodorant. He turned to see Sandra and...that guy. The one from the airplane. Kiryu recognized him instantly. What's he doing here!? His eyes met Kiryu's as he entered, there was a look of vague recognition, but he hadn't come here specifically to see Kiryu. In fact nothing about the man showed any sign that he had expected to see Kiryu, or even cared, perhaps it was just a coincidence. It's possible, think, if he left his country with nowhere to stay, he could quite easily have ended up here too. The rent is the lowest in the area When they were sat down Sandra explained how things were going to work then asked some questions.
First question:- What have you been doing for the past month, profession, I ask this because I don't want any riff raff traipsing through my house It was a fair question. "I was working in Japan, and just the other day got transfered over here to work in an American branch of the company I worked for" Kiryu answered. It was close to the truth, he had mostly been working, though transfered wouldn't be the word he'd use to describe what actually happened. More like blackmailed out of the country and now stuck working for someone when/if they decided they wanted his services.
Second Question:- What do you do and can you afford to pay the damages deposit and first months rent up front? "I work in loans. Mainly setting them up, making new plans for those who fall behind. Yes I can pay the deposit and first month upfront." Kiyru answered, just leaving out the minor detail that the loans were Yakuza run, and not strictly legal. Money for the most part wasn't a problem, he still had access to his accounts, though he feared that would change very soon, and had withdrawn as much as he could.
Third question:- Would you be tempted to steal my underwear? Now answer honestly... What a bizarre question. Was that an American thing? Sure people stole women's underwear in Japan, but they were usually the same guys that stoked one out after just touching a girl's hand. He'd also personally never seen the point in stealing someone's underwear unless...The thought made him giggle a little. He noticed Sandra staring intently, he had to answer with it now. "Only for a drag queen party" He answered, though he probably wouldn't do that any time soon, sure like any man he liked the way the silk felt on his skin, but too many men hit on him when he went out like that, it was pretty freaky. Also he had no friends here, going out with friends dressed as a girl was fine, but on your own was just weird.
fourth Question:- What are you eating habits like? I can not stand vegetarians, it is stupid eat the meat that needs to be eaten! am i Right! "Indeed, Yeah I will eat anything, I can cook too" Kiryu answered, he couldn't stand vegetarians either, it made a night out so awkward.
Fifth Question:- There are four fridges, if one fridge is empty and one fridge is full and one fridge half full, which fridge is yours? "The other fridge." Kiryu answered, noticing she only mentioned three fridges. It seemed appropiote, and the most amusing answer.
Now he'd just have to see what the other guy would say, and what Sandra thought about his answers.

Richard just looked at the girl as she invited him into her house, still looking at her and not deriding to look away Richard ended up walking into a banister. The stunning girl just laughed at him as he did his best not to go red with embarrassment. She leaded him through to the lounge, which was a huge room filled with oak fruiter, which through experience Richard new wasn’t cheap. Richard looked at the other man in the room and he had been right, the man from the plane was also in here and still wearing the same clothes that he had flown in and yet he seemed so clean.
Richard sat down and listened to what the strange girl was saying, he was also doing his best not to stare at her too much. He heard the questions that she asked and as he went to say something the other man jumped striate in with his answers most of which seemed somewhat striate forward all up until the stranger from the plane said “only for a drag queen part”. Was this guy a cross dresser did he often to go out dressed like that, not that Richard had a problem with it, it just seemed a bit weird for a guy dressed the way he was. Richard began to think about his answers .
First question:- What have you been doing for the past month, profession, I ask this because I don't want any riff raff traipsing through my house It was a fair question.
Richard thought to himself, for the last month him and his brother and been stealing oak fruiter from rich people’s house and then selling them on. It was small time stuff to what he normally did but the work had been slow for him, in his last month in Switzerland. He decided it was probably not best to say that was his job, but she might buy that had been working in retail. “Retail and I’ve just been transferred here to work with our new head boss”. Most of that had been a lie but Richard was good at lying and he was okay with.
Second Question:- What do you do and can you afford to pay the damages deposit and first months rent up front?
Now this was a much easier question for him to answer and he didn’t even have to lie, all that much. “I’m going to be getting a new job working in the head office of my company and yes I will be able to pay”. Richard thought to himself, okay maybe that was bigger lie than he need but it was some much fun.
Third question:- Would you be tempted to steal my underwear? Now answer honestly...
“No, what kind of man steals or wares women’s underwear”. Richard had forgotten how fun lying could be but, it was his brother that always wanted the underwear Richard just use to steal it. Though he was never sure way as his brother wanted the underwear, after all he had a girl friend not that Richard ever got chance to meet her. Thinking about this brought a slight sadness to Richards’s eyes and his usual smile seemed to shirk.
fourth Question:- What are you eating habits like? I can not stand vegetarians, it is stupid eat the meat that needs to be eaten! am i Right!
“I will eat just about anything”. That was the first thing Richard had answered that wasn’t a lie but he was still feeling sad about that fact that his brother had never introduced him to his girl friend and now that his brother was dead Richard with never get to meet her.
Fifth Question:- There are four fridges, if one fridge is empty and one fridge is full and one fridge half full, which fridge is yours?
Richard thought about what the other man had said but all that filled his mind now was his dead brother and how much he missed him and how he wanted revenge, so he said the most logical thing that came to his head “You only said three so I assume it would be the one with my food in it”. Richard thought to himself that was good answers but it makes more sense for the other fridge to be his. “Wait I mean the other one, as you only mentioned three the other fridge would be mine, I was only joking before”. Richard had said that as calmly as he could and had made sure to smile at the end so as make sure they knew it was a joke even though it wasn’t.
He then just sat and waited to see how much of his answers the girl and brought.

With a pleasant atmosphere and smiles on everyone's faces the questioning began.
the answerers themselves were more revealing that perhaps the interviewees realized, the first set boundaries, the second made them know that it was still her house regardless of who they brought round, the third was just plain funny, fourth was for when she threw a welcome banquet and the fifth was to see if they thought the fridges were her food in it were theres, they had both seen through this apparently.
From Kiryu she learnt that he peppered his truths, he was non-specific and it was hard to tell how much he bent his words to her ears. This man had worked in intimidation, she could tell that just by the way he spoke, held himself and looked her straight in the eye. Unlike most he didn't talk with his hands, they remained still... just in case he would have to sue them she imagined.
Mr. Rider however was a little different, not only was he badly dressed and stinking so strongly it nearly made her eyes water and his answers were so bogus. Either that or the stench was causing her a lapse in judgment, but he had a certain charm. Whilst he was talking a sadness clouded his eyes, though the smile still stuck to it. Whether fake or not she felt for the man, and saw the crap that was falling from his mouth as a cover for some past he didn't;t want to talk about.
"Ill be honest with you guys, you are the only two that turned up... so bring em the deposit and first months rent and you can move in within the next few days! She smiled broadly at her new two house mates.
I'm going to be redecorating and at some point my Dad will be visiting! So i hope you are ready for an action packed living arrangement!

Richard sat stunned by what he had just heard , he couldn’t believe that him and the strange man sat next to him were the only people to have come to look at the house. But fuck it he thought he had a place to stay and from here he could start his search for Lovac and his quest for revenge.
Richard reached into his pocket and pulled out the wad of cash he had and handed it to his soon to be ‘land lord’.
“This should be enough to cover it.” Richard spoke with a cocky tone his voice as the money parted hands. As the money left his hands and his land lord flicked through the wad he could tell that she was beginning to think that he had been lying about being in retail, but he just smiled and she shrugged he shoulders and carried on with what she was doing.
It should be fun to live here Richard thought to himself, he wandered what the strangers would be like to live with and what sort of quirks they had. He then started to think about what his land lord had said, something about her father coming down, he wandered what he would be like, and he then started to think, was he living with humans or mutants would they find out if he was a mutant? Would they care? He pushed the thoughts from his head and politely asked if he could be shown to his room.

Kiryu smiled as Sandra spoke. Sure he only had a place to stay because no one else turned up, and he had to live with that guy from the plane, Kiryu couldn't work out what to make of him yet, and that always made him uneasy, he'd have to keep an eye on him for a while, but still he had a place to stay, and bed to sleep in. Sandra on the other hand seemed quite genuine, though she probably had a couple of skeletons in her closet, everyone did these days. She seemed to buy his story, at least enough not to kick him out of the house.
He pulled out his wallet, flicked through the dollars he'd withdrawn, and gave Sandra the money she'd asked for. Richard handed his over too. Now all Kiryu had to do was earn some money before next months rent, and everything would be sorted on the home front, and he could then work on getting back to his real home. He wondered what his family might be up to at that moment, were they ok, had they moved on? He brushed the thoughts out of his head and tried to think of something else, and wondered what his room would look like, was it furnished? Did it have a bed in it? Richard asked to be shown his and Kiryu nodded and asked as well.
