Since the dawn of the twentieth century, there have been individuals and people with superpowers, people who have guided the course of humanity and aided them to the point it seems impossible to imagine life without them, now.

Despite this, however, the newer generation has come under scrutiny for their lack of training and their apparently careless attitude toward their abilities.

Enter the Higher Powers Academy, headed up by Nick Fury and a familiar roster of teachers, who will guide this next generation in their studies and train these teens for the challenges waiting out there.

This is their story.

Way of the Future is a brand-new board set in the heady days of adolescence and high school, with a lot of the familiar characters having to worry about relationships, studies and exams as well as supervillains and emergencies. Imagine the X-Men Evolution show, but on a much, much larger scale. Numerous superheroes and supervillains are available, from a mix of worlds including DC, Marvel, Image/Top Cow and Dark Horse comics, and players are allowed to interpret their chosen characters in anyway they wish. Want to make Spider-Man a villain? Play Raven entirely seperate from the Titans for good? Think Hellboy should embrace his destiny as Anung Un Rama?
