In the west side of the of the court yard where another battle would take place, with the Helicarrier brought down and the vast majority of the NO army crushed beneath it, it was down to the more specialist forces to defeat and detain the X-men and the other Resistance members.
So it was here that Test and Wreckage of the X-men would do battle with the Prince of Latveria himself, Breach.

"Alright rich boy, lets go then." Test said as she cracked her knuckles, circling the Prince. Her eyes rested slightly on the collapsed fountain near them, that would be her safe point at the moment.
Looking over to Wreckage she said with a little smile "He sure as hell don't look that tough. Why ah' bet this is a piece 'o' cake." she said as she raised her eyebrow slightly towards the villain before them.
She knew of course, in her head, that this was the Prince of Latveria. He was powerful. A slight downgrade of the original Doom himself, but powerful nonetheless. And though she may play cocky on the outside, Babs was no egghead.
"Where's big ol' daddy rich boy? He gonna save ya from tha danger?" she taunted slowly.

Gregori had watched the descent of Gilgamesh with wonder, he'd heard stories of the man but seeing him was something else, the way the tendrils moved, if he hadn't known better he would have thought they had minds of their own. Still it was an impressive display, one which had caught the attention of the mutants in side no doubt. The sound of the starting engine caught his attention as he kept moving forwards with the other soldiers, working himself into position even as he watched the jeep roar to life and race off back down the road towards the ruined mansion.
Scanning the area ahead for signs of trouble he coudn't see anything obvious, nothing that looked out of place but then...he'd never been here before so what was out of place in a strange place? Calls from the men around him made him turn sharply, following their gaze skyward, watching as the lights flickered and died all along the sides of the giant hellicarrier above them, the sound of its massive turbines dying in the sky. Panic ensued. Someone crashed into him sending the Latverian sprawling to the ground, rolling in the dirt as others tripped over him.
The radios came alive with so much chatter he couldn't make anything out in the noise. Soldiers and vehicles began to flee in every direction, trying to escape the crash zone of the carrier. Its huge metal frame groaned as it suddenly slowed in the air, tilting onto one side and slamming into the ground.
The noise was horrendous, the dying, whirring blades of the turbines were deafening as they kicked up waves of dust, blowing it out in every direction. In an instant his sight was gone as he coughed and spluttered, bumping into people and discarded items in his path. The screeching and groaning became alittle fainter as he moved away, into the grounds of the mansion, wiping his streaming eyes trying to clear out the dust as he coughed.
Von Doom found himself resting on his hands against an old ruined fountain, the stone work well made and oddly pristine against the setting of the ruined house, even the water inside it seemed to be rather clear. His hands reached in, cupping some water and splashing it onto his face, helping to clear away some of the dust as he heard footsteps behind him. He turned sharply, his hand dropping to the firearm at his side only to find an empty holster, no doubt lost in his earlier fall.
Unarmed he pulled himself up straight, letting his arms relax by his sides, his eyes wandering between the two woman who seemed to have emerged from the dust cloud to confront him.
"You must forgive me Ladies, you have me at a disadvantage, you already know me but I do not know you."
He smiled as he spoke. He didn't think they'd bother with an answer but he had learned that people could often be thrown off guard by things not happening the way they expected. Unfortunately it worked both ways. At the mention of his father the smile slipped from his face and his hands clenched and unclenched once,
"If there is one thing i have learnt from my father, it is that he only looks after himself."
He adjusted his stance alittle, sliding one foot just a little behind the other to stablise himself as the woman who spoke began to circle. The other woman had yet to move from where she had emerged...
"You will have to make do with me for the time being"

**it's been a week and wreckage hasn't replied yet...i'm going to continue*
Test continued to circle the increasingly angry man. "None ah' this would have ta happen if ya wouldn't kill yer own kind an' all. Ya could put down ya arms an' stop tha' fightin" she said through gritted teeth, eying the fountain that he was rested on. She needed to get there.
It was were her stronger power laid. Otherwise she was reliant upon her brute strength. Which in a offcase hand wasn't too bad. But she didn't know the maximum of his powers. He could blast her with a look for all she knew.
I have to start paying attention when Claude talks about the enemy, she thought to herself. If I live through this.
Glancing about at Wreckage she heaved a sigh, the girl hadn't done anything yet. What was she doing?!
Biting her bottom lip Test cast her eyes at the rubble and broken machinery around her. Well lucky ol' me, she thought with a smile casting her eyes at a rather large rock that came off the fountain. Pickling it up with a grunt she heaved it up and over at Doom, hoping to distract him long enough that he wouldn't see her as she rushed to the fountain.

Von Doom watched her circling him this way and that, trying to figure out what her eyes kept flicking back and forth from without turning his head. he had no intention of taking his eyes off the woman, who knew what she was capable of, but at the same time he was curious to see what she was staring at all the time.
"I really have no wish to hurt you Miss, but if you leave me no choice i will lay you out cold. After that what happens to you is out of my hands. I can only protect you if you surrender to me willingly"
It was the truth, while he was here in support of the NO, he was stil technically a foreign offical and by surrendering herself she would become a prisoner of Latveria and under his protection. He didn't think the idea would take but at least it gave her something to think about.
"So what do you sa..."
He ducked and rolled to the side, staying in a crouch as the rock sailed past where his head had been only moments before, listening to it thud against the stone of the fountain and clatter to the floor. Obviously he had his answer. Pushing off the floor he cosed the distance, keeping his guard up, his hands moving slowly, suddenly twisting as she came into range, his foot lashing out, the turning kick aimed for her ribs, hoping to take down quickly...

THE TERROR OF KNOWING WHAT THIS WORLD IS ABOUTwatchin' some good friends screaming- - - - - - - - L E T M E O U T ! Kat’s patience was wearing out. It was bad enough she’d started the whole damn mess with the New Order, but now she had to wait in the ruined basement of the X-Men mansion for one side to win. It was nothing short of torture. With the crashes and general noise of battle raging outside, Kat couldn’t help but worry, she’d been trained to be an X-Man from birth, and here she was cowering in a dungy basement. After walking the perimeter of the basement for the fifth time, she had finally made up her mind to break out.
She’d spotted an air duct on one of the walls and, deciding there was no time like the present, closed her eyes and focused her powers. A tingle raced up and down her body, the curious light headed feeling alerting her to her now immaterialised state. Her mind was scattered, as it always was after transformation, but she had enough wits to float herself towards the air vent, waiting for the right moment when the stale oxygen from the room would be sucked out and hitching a free ride. She was glad she wasn’t claustrophobic as the fans raced her through the air vents, otherwise this would be her worst nightmare, the metal walls closing in on her, although in her current state it was hard to have a sense of space…
Mentally slapping herself to stop her mind wandering, she saw the light at the end of the tunnel, literally, and before she knew it she was outside in the fresh air. Not wanting to get blown away by the wind, she solidified back into flesh and bones, her boots landing heavily on the grass as she did. She looked down at her attire with a scowl, she was still wearing her old clothes from when she had come to visit the memorial, somehow jeans, a tight top and Steel toed boots just didn’t scream superhero.
The sound of the battle hit her, the screams of agony from the people seemingly crushed beneath a helicopter, the various shots from guns, the shouts of people, both mutant and human as they waged war against each other. If she was more of a pacifist, she would have backed down, but Katherine Pryde didn’t raise Kat to be a quitter, well, not when it came to a fight for the X-Men. There was too much going on around for Kat to comprehend it all, there were helicopters flying over head, she didn’t know if they were reinforcements or another wave. She peered at the stencilling on the side of them and couldn’t hold back a grin as she saw the letters S.H.I.E.L.D. Someone obviously had friends in high places.
Kat turned her attention back to the dilemma at hand. She didn’t have any weapons, she didn’t have a plan, but she knew she had to do something. And if worse came to worse, she could suffocate someone from the inside, not something she’d ever tried before, but theoretically it should work.
With gritty determination, she set off to the nearest battle, a blonde bombshell wearing a familiar costume, but she couldn’t put her finger on where she’d seen it. She watched the woman lug a huge bolder at him. “Nice shot,” she commented, drawing close to their fight. She saw him set off towards them, “Think you made him angry though.”
She quickly transformed, turning back into mist, she flew on the breeze towards the man, ending up behind him. She materialised in a flash, and, thinking quickly, went to give him a push with all her might. Her aim was to make him stumble, or fall, so the woman could have a chance to defend herself. It wasn’t very hero-y but it was the first idea that came to her head.

Barbara could feel the kick to her stomach region. It was hard. Crazt painful hard. She didn't want time to think of the pain so she stumbled off balance but kept her sights still on the fountain, heading for it. Though a little slower than before. Reaching the edge she looked behind, just in time to see Kat turn to give the Doom kid a push.
"Oh lawd. That lil' girl is gonna go an' get herself killed." Babs said under her breath before she tipped over the side, encasing herself in full water.
Coming back up for air her eyes moved over to Doom and Kat again. Climbing out of the pool she smiled wickedly over at Doom. Whistling, as one would for a dog she kept her eyes locked on Doom. "Hey Doom-y! Ah' feel better. Wanna wrassle?" she asked with a little smile, her hair dripping to a mass puddle around her.

He felt his shin connect with her ribs ina good solid strike but whether she ment to or not the woman rolled with the force of it to th ground and away from him before he could follow up with a second strike. She seemed dead set on making it to the fountain as she stumbled this way and that, maybe to keep it between him and her? He easn't sure but he wasn't about to give up his advantage woman or not. He followed her, closing the distance ready to take her down hard from behind when he suddenly lost his footing.
Something struck him from behind, not hard like a punch, but the extra momentum made him stumble and lose his footing, sprawling on the ground just intime to watch the blonde vault the side of the fountain and splash into water. He rolled onto his back quickly expecting a follow up attack to come but nothing happened, he was left laying there staring at a young girl. Angry and embaressed he pushed himself to his feet and stormed after her, his arm swinging to backfist her across the face. If she had any sense she wouldn't have interfered with this encounter.
"Hey Doom-y! Ah' feel better. Wanna wrassle?"
His head spun to face her, looking completely comical, soaked head to toe in not such an unpleasant fashion, forgetting the younger girl for a moment...
