• Power | Abby seemed to inherit her mother's mutant end of the gene pool, which she really couldn't be happier about seeing as how kick-ass it is (at least in her opinion). Just like Meltdown, Abby can produce balls of plasma, that essentially work like little time bombs with various degrees of severity. While she's really creating them with her mind, these plasma bombs appear in her hands, just so that it's easier to throw and direct them. She can only make them in spherical shapes, and the balls will appearing to have a bright orange-red glow to them.
Abby mainly conjures up her bombs in about three sizes depending on what kind of damage she wants to do. First, there are tiny bombs that are about the size of a small rock. This are useful for causing distractions, minor (1st degree) burns and scorch marks, or destroying electronic circuits or something else small. The next largest are about baseball size, which can easily break through surfaces like class or wood, and would create 2nd degree burn damage in a human. Her largest bombs have so far been maybe about a basketball in size, and they can destroy metal and concrete surfaces, cause 3rd degree burns, and really just cause pretty thorough destruction of the surrounding area. All this is what has earned her the codename Wreckage.
Besides the whole explosion part, the other main thing to note about Abby's mutation is that they are time bombs and she has the ability to control when they actually blow up. In theory, she could place a bomb somewhere and then detonate in minutes later as long as she keeps her concentration on it, though that's easier said than done (see weaknesses). As far as the quantity she can make, Abby can produce several of her smallest bombs at once, produce maybe two or three of the medium ones at a time, but the largest she has to create one at a time.
• Weapons | None (hello she creates mini-bombs, what other weapon does a girl need?)
• Weaknesses | While Abby is resistance to and can absorb any of the plasma energy released by her bombs, she sometimes finds herself the victim of various pieces of debris that can hit her as the result of an explosion. Her power is a great offense, it doesn't provide much of a defense unless she can blast something out of the way (and in addition she has no protection against telepathic attacks). In addition, while older and somewhat well-practiced with her mutation, she still struggles with control like many young mutants. Currently, even with her smallest bomb, she can really only delay it for a minute at most before it explodes, and the bigger the size the more difficult the plasma is to control. She can still struggle with holding off her largest bomb for more than a few seconds. Also, personality-wise, Abby suffers from the fact that her mind kind of works like a ticking time bomb as well. She is impatient and often rushes into an attack, which is a dangerous combination considering her powers.
• Skills | Abby is actually already a pretty decent fighter when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Her parents recognized that the world wasn't exactly a safe place, but since it was dangerous to openly use her powers, they wanted her to have another way to defend herself. Both of her parents were also skilled fighters thanks to their early days at Xavier's. It's nothing too fancy, but she basically knows kick-boxing as well as normal boxing moves, as well as a tiny bit of karate. Her mom also taught her some stealth and agility tricks (since Tabitha was admittedly a thief for a while when she was a teenager). Unfortunately, Abby prefers to be loud and noticeable opposed to being stealthy, but she does know it.
In addition, Abby is a intelligent girl, even if she chooses not to show. She never exactly got great grades, because academics just never really captured her interesting, but she's definitely street smart and can strategize well if she really puts her mind to it. This often surprises people since usually she's a "shoot first, ask questions later" kind of fighter, but if faced with real pressure or problems she can think on her feet fairly quickly.

• Height | 5'5"
• Weight | 123 lbs.
• Hair color & Style | Bright blonde hair that she usually keeps long (about down to her shoulder blades), and is layered. It's naturally straights, though she likes to curl it sometimes.
• Eye color | Blue
• Face claim | Kristin Bell
• Overall Appearance | Abby stands at a pretty average height of about 5'5", with an equally average weight of 123 lbs. Her figure is overall slender, but she also has some visible muscle tone since she does likes to keep in shape (and plus all the extra training now helps). The rest of her looks she pretty much gets thanks to her parents. Like both she has light blonde hair, that she usually likes to keep long. It's naturally straight, but sometimes she curls it, and will wear it in a variety of styles depending on her mood. Her eyes are mostly bright blue in color, though if you look closely there is a hint of green in them as well. Abby's eyesight is actually a little off, but she prefers to wear contacts instead of glasses (they really just get in the way sometimes). Her skin tone is fair, with maybe only a slight natural tan to it.
Clothing-wise, Abby's usually not too picky. She does prefer bright, fun colors over anything else, having a particular affinity for anything neon. Some mutants may like to blend into the background, but she's always one who loves to stand out in the ground. Abby's not a big fan of anything too "girls", staying away form skirts or dresses unless she absolutely has too. Her daily outfit usually consist of jeans, a pair of converses, and whatever shirt she feels like. She does like accessories, though, and has both of her ears double-pierced, and she usual wears a variety of bracelets and rings as well.
If she's out doing hero business, she does have sort of a "fighting outfit" that she's adapted. It consists of black, flexible leather pants as well as a matching black leather vest. Underneath the vest, just so she has some more coverage, she'll wear a brightly-colored tank top or t-shirt. For shoes she'll switch between her trusted sneakers or her boots (depending on if she's planning for more running or more fighting, basically), as well as a pair of wrist-length leather gloves.

• Favorite Color | Lime Green - It's not too girly or anything for her tastes, but it's fun, vibrant and she likes to think it's kind of unique.
• Likes |
• Dislikes |
' two - Failing (no one likes to screw up, but she really takes it to heart)
' three - Rain (kind of just one of those things that gets in the way)
' four - Sitting still (she's too restless to stay in one place, and it makes her feel useless)
' five - Being alone (she's definitely a people person)
[/ul]
• Fears | That her mom really is dead, any other members of her family getting hurt, her explosions getting too out of control and harming innocent people
• Goals/ dreams | Honestly, that somehow she really can help put at end to all this fighting and prejudice (even if it seems rather impossible). Despite how much she loves excitement, a normal life really doesn't sound too bad at this point.
• Overall Personality | Abby definitely has an explosive personality, if you'll forgive the pun. She is vibrant, loud, and is never afraid to say what's on her mind. On the downside, this can make her rather annoying to be around sometimes, and it gets her into trouble because she'll just do what she wants and doesn't always think of the consequences. On the plus side, though, this does make Abby a very friendly and energetic person. She's never afraid to introduce herself or take that first step, and she has no problems nudging others in the right direction if they need a little help. She's always ready to be on the move and overcome whatever challenges face her.
Abby is admittedly impatient and determined, which can be a dangerous or useful combination depending on the situation. She'll never give up no matter how bad it seems, and especially when it comes to her family or friends she will fight to the bitter end. However, her impatient side can make her reckless and unreliable, and even when she's acting with good intentions, people have been known to get hurt along the way. Abby is a loyal friends to those she cares about, and will always look out for them, but if you get on her bad side she has one hell of a temper. And if you betray her, she is not one to forgive and forget so easily.
Abby struggles to ever get herself to be calmed and focus, but as mentioned above she is a smart girl if she really puts her mind to good use. Also, while she constantly puts on a brave face, a lot of the time she's much more scared then she seems. She's really unsure about what the future is going to hold for her and her family, and it worries her. And, while she's a very friendly person, it takes a while for her to really trust and open up to a person, because she's more emotionally vulnerable than she appears.

• Overall history | Abigail Melinda Guthrie is the daughter of Samuel Guthrie and Tabitha Smith. Both were mutants were attended Xavier's school when they were in high school. The pair started dating when they were teenagers, and though they had almost opposite personalities and backgrounds, the two were very much in love and eventually went on to get married. Years later, they had their daughter, Abby. Though both her parents were mutants loyal to the X-men, when she was born they moved to her father's home state of Kentucky, in hopes of having somewhat of a normal life for Abby's sake. And, for a while, it worked. Her parents found jobs with modest wages, but they lived comfortably enough, and her early childhood was pretty simple. She played with the neighbors, adored her parents, and thought her life was great.
However, as the mutant fights escalated, she could tell that her parents were getting more and more anxious. Abby was told when she was young that her parents were mutants, and that there was a chance she was going to be one too. Her parents didn't want to alarm her, but they did want her to be prepared. As she neared the age of ten, her parents would often take turns leaving home, sometimes for weeks at a time. They never told her exactly what they were doing, but she knew they were helping to defend against anti-mutant groups such as the New Order. For her mother, the final straw was when news reached the Guthrie's that Xavier's mansion had been destroyed. Tabitha declared that she was going to join shield, wanting to really be a part of this war. Her parents went through a rough patch for a bit, since Sam still wanted to keep Abby away from all this as much as possible, and to just keep helping from their home in Kentucky. Tabitha refused to sit around, though, and left for Canada. Sam was angry for a while, but eventually really did understand why his wide felt that way. Abby missed her mom, even though she visited once in a while.
When Abby was thirteen, she started showed signs of her mutations. They were just small explosions and minor accidents, but her father recognized right away that she had gained her mother's abilities. With this, Sam accepted that he really had to start preparing for the worst. Her father started to train her in secret, really just when in came to combat fighting, but then whenever Tabitha was home they would work on her mutation. Abby was a little frightened with all this sudden changes, but was also excited with the idea that she was going to be like her parents. As her teenage years went on, she definitely picked up her mother's wild and rebellious streak, and began to express her longing to try and join the fight as well. Sam tried to keep her away from it, though, and Tabitha agreed that Abby shouldn't try to do anything until she was at least 18 and out of high school.
However, everything changed during her senior year of high school. Her mother went on another mission for shield, but she got separated from the group during an attack, and wasn't found anywhere once they dust had settled. They waited for days, but they got no word from her. SHIELD declared her an MIA agent, since a body wasn't found to confirm her death, but once Abby heard the news she automatically feared the worse. Despite their occasionally differences, Sam still loved his wife dearly, and for him this was the final straw. While Abby was still finished her senior year, she was 18 years old, and let her be on her own as he left to join SHIELD (also in hopes of being able to search for Tabitha). Abby wasn't bothered by his decision to leave (in fact she encouraged it), but she was angry that he still wouldn't let her join either. Now that he had potentially lost his wife, Sam seemed more determined then ever to keep Abby away from the fight.
After she graduated, Abby stayed in Kentucky for a while, since she hadn't even bothered to apply to college considering everything that had happened. Her father touched base when he could, and out of love (and respect for the pain that he was in), she tried to have a semblance of a normal life, but she was going crazy. It was everywhere in the news that innocent mutants were getting hurt, good mutants like her mother had been, and Abby just couldn't stand it. Her father had the power to stop SHIELD from recruiting her, but there was no way her could keep her Kentucky her whole life. Abby had been aware of the resistance for a while, since it had ties to other families that went to Xavier's. It took a little digging, but she was finally able to pinpoint their location in Louisiana, so Abby hopped on the nearest bus and showed up at their doorstep. She's been there a few months now, and obviously her father figured out that she wasn't at home any more, and it's safe to say that he's furious. For now, though, she's determined to continue her training, and so far nothing's been able to change that.

Domino was doing what she usually did when she was bored; practicing her aim. Well, she supposed it really wasn't practicing (like she would ever need that) as much as it what just occupying her time with something However, the really unfortunate part was what she had been reduced to practicing with...a ball. A pathetic, red, little ball. Since this place was already falling about enough she had promised to not use her guns as much, but this really wasn't nearly as satisfying. She gave a silent sigh, as she starting bouncing the ball at an exact point in the wall again. Maybe what was actually more pathetic was that she was sitting alone in her room, but there really wasn't much going on at the moment. Pietro was probably off sulking somewhere about Magneto, Toad was likely rolling in a dumpster, Fred was doing...whatever he did when he wasn't here, and Lance was...um...
Domino suddenly caught the ball easily with one hand, as her eyes narrowed slightly with concentration. Where had the human earthquake run off to? It had been awfully quiet around here the past few days. With a casual shrug, she raised her hand, ready to throw again, when she was suddenly started by a horrendous alarm of some sort. The ball went the completely other direction, though it bounced off a chair and still hit in the same spot (of course). She didn't bother catching the ball this time though as she listened more closely to the god awful noise, and slowly realized it was somebody...singing.
With a low growl, Domino jumped off her bed, stormed towards the door, and violently swung it open. As she marched towards the source of the racket, in her mind she was prepared to send a bullet straight into the intruder's mouth to silence them once and for all...oh, wait, after that last shouted comment she realized it was Lance himself (speak of the devil). Still, the scowl didn't leave her face as she made her way to the kitchen. "God, you're here for 10 seconds and I already have a headache...who wouldn't miss that?" she asked, rolling her eyes, before resuming her glare. The dark-haired mutant crossed her arms, leaning against the counter. "Where did you go anyway? ...And then why did you come back?" she added, with evident sarcasm.
