• Power | Noah has the ability to recharge any kind of system via touch, whether the system is biological or electronic based. In short, he basically acts like a giant battery to whoever needs it. If it is an electrical system, like lights, a computer, or a weapon, he can recharge to a state where the object is entirely functionally and will basically work like new, even if it's been dead for a long time (though if there is a structural damage, and not just an issue with power, he can't do anything with his mutation to fix it). Or, at the same time, if he wanted to destroy something that was already working, he could use his ability to overcharge it and basically fry the system.
More than electronics though, Noah has the unique gift of being able to recharge humans or animals as well. In the case of normal humans, if someone is tired or fatigued, he essentially acts like a large dose of caffeine, but without the crash later. He can physically make you feel well-rested or just normal. Beyond that, if you are wounded in some way, his ability can sort of put your immune system into over-drive and help temporarily speed up the healing process (though this only works for flesh wounds, like cuts and gashes; he can't fix up loss limbs or terminal cancer, or anything along those lines). However, if he isn't careful when putting a human body into overdrive, they'll react just like a normal electrical system, and he can fry them too if he isn't careful. In reality, this could be used as an offensive attack against enemies, but it's not really his style. Only a little bit of overcharge will just cause someone to pass out (or do things like make them confused, dizzy, or just messing up the senses), but too much and they will die. In the case of mutants, his recharging abilities will boost not only the physical aspects (like fatigue), but also recharge the mutant powers, and in some cases can temporarily increase the strength of their attacks. All the before mentioned risks still apply.
As far as how long this "recharging" process takes, it depends on the system. Obviously a more damaged system will take more time, possible a couple of minutes, while some things he can give a decent touch up in a matter of seconds. With his ability and years of practice, Noah can pretty much sense when something is nearing a fully charged state, so it's not like he's in the habit of overcharging systems, but the possibility of being hurt does still exist.
• Weapons | He did learn how to fire a gun, but he actually hates carrying one and would only do so under extreme circumstances.
• Weaknesses | As irony would have it, Noah's ability does not work on himself, and if you spend a lot of time charging other things, it actually is quite draining. He can use his powers a fair amount without waring out, thanks to practice, but it's not uncommon to see him drinking lots of coffee or energy drinks it order to keep himself going. Also, while his ability is useful in many situations, the plain fact is it offers him virtually no defense against outsiders. He's kind of easy target to any kind of physically or mental harm, though the New Order his helping him learn how to fight.
• Skills | As mentioned before, Noah does know how to handle a gun and he has been trained in some hand to hand combat. However, his real skill would have to be his intelligence. Perhaps it goes along with his mutation, but Noah's always had a talent for machines, or rather computers and electronics in particular. He's kind of your typical geek, finding new gadgets to fix or computer systems to hack absolutely fascinating. And IQ wise, he's definitely close to the point of genius. Out in the field, he really his more of the tech guy than a fighter, but the New Order definitely has ways to utilize that as well.

• Height | 5' 10"
• Weight | 164 lbs.
• Hair color & Style | Dark brown, short and messy.
• Eye color | Grey-blue
• Face claim | Logan Lerman
• Overall Appearance | Noah does stand slightly on the short side, around 5'10. His physique isn't bad, though, and is in pretty good shape though he's far from buff or anything like that. His hair is dark brown in color, and he always keeps its length pretty short, though it does have many layers often given it a somewhat messy appearance. Noah's eye are a very clear blue-grey in color, and his skin tone is a bit on the pale side, probably thanks to where he lives.
As far as clothing goes, Noah's a typical guy who keeps his outfits pretty simple. Most days he's content to just keep it to jeans and a t-shirt, though he's not opposed to looking a bit nicer if the occasion calls for it. Still, he usually finds there are bigger things to worry about than his appearance. If he's going into a fight, it somewhat varies what he'll wear, but usually it's just something dark (in order to blend in), and easy to move around in.

• Favorite Color | Blue, it's simple and calm...a nice, normal color
• Likes |
• Dislikes |
• Fears | Failing any of his missions, accidentally killing someone (with his powers or otherwise), and small spaces
• Goals/ dreams | Seeing an end to this war, and also finding his father
• Overall Personality | A lot of Noah's personality fits into your typical geek characteristics. He's content to spend time on his own, and in a lot of cases he finds the companionship of technology much more easier to deal with that people. It's not exactly that Noah is anti-social, and most of the time you really can describe him as friendly, but he has little patience for things like social drama or gossip. If you can't hold an intelligent conversation, he has the tendency to brush you aside. However, he is far from heartless, and doesn't mind (or something enjoys) giving others a helping hand if he can. After all, his mutation really only works for the purpose of benefiting others.
Most likely thanks to his caffeine addiction, Noah can also be a little high-strung, and doesn't like to be surprised or yelled at. He tries to avoid confrontation, whether it's verbal and physically, and would much rather like to solve things peacefully, or just by using his mind. Along with that, he can get rather enthused about things, especially when in pertains to technology, and he has a bad habit of talking very fast or saying complicated things, forgetting to think about other people trying to follow along. Noah doesn't have much in the way of a temper (since he hates yelling just as much as he hates being yelled at), but he doesn't have a sarcastic streak and has little reservations about being critical if he thinks someone's being stupid. Normally though, Noah is a nice guy, even if he has a variety of odd quirks.

• Birthplace | Seattle, Washington
• Mother | Gwenneth Caxton
• Father | Unknown mutant
• Siblings | None
• Other Relations | Lydia Caxton (Grandmother)
• Companion | None
• Overall history | Noah's life started out as normal as any other. He was born in Seattle, to Gwen Caxton who was a singly mother. She got pregnant when she was only twenty-two, though managed to finish college right before he was born. Unfortunately, his father (who was older than Gwen) apparently wasn't ready for such a commitment, and disappeared almost as soon as she found out that she was pregnant. His mother shared almost no details about his father, whether it was because she was upset, or because their relationship wasn't the serious, he never did find out. However, while being a single parent isn't easy, his mother was an amazing woman, they got along quite well. His mom was able to find a decent job working as a school teaching, and while the salary was modest they managed fine. Noah often wondered about his father, but never pressed the subject out of his mother's wishes. Besides, while simple his life was good. And as young as eight years old his intelligence really started to show, and he was able to skip a grade.
However, everything started to change around the time he turned fourteen. Noah would touch a light or an appliance, and suddenly they would spark, or explode. Sometimes he swore he could have felt an energy or a current rushing through him, but he tried his best to brush it off as mere coincidence, or his mind playing tricks. Still, the incidents occurred more frequently, and with all the talk of mutants in the media he began to fear the worse. Noah finally confessed what was going on to his mom. She was shocked to say the least, but then also admitted she was worried this might happen one day. It turns out his father had been a mutant as well, and while she still refused to give him the details, it wasn't surprising that the male gene has been passed on. Noah did his best to put on a smile, but deep down he was terrified of himself. Sure, he always stood on a little thanks to his academic skills, but a mutant? This was a fight he never wanted to be a part of.
Tragedy didn't seem to avoid him though. He kept is mutation under the radar, but everything changed again at age seventeen. Noah's mom has gone out for a simple grocery shopping trip, but while she was gone a public fight broke out, between government forces and a group of mutants. No one would ever give him a clear explanation about what happened, but his mom got caught up in the exchange of attacks and was killed. By wounds alone, it was hard to say whether it was a mutant or a human who had actually killed her. Noah was crushed, and that was even putting it simply. His mother was basically the only family he knew, except for a grandmother who lived all the way in Ohio. Frustrated and angry with all the things that he couldn't control, Noah finally picked a side. Practically the day after his mother's funeral he willingly turned himself over to the government, and the New Order in particular. He doesn't want to hurt people, but he does want the fighting to end, and he believes that the New Order is the right side. While he's somewhat come to terms with his mutation and its uses, deep down Noah still sees himself as a freak. Maybe they are the ones who really don't belong, so in turn it's the normal humans who deserve the protection.

Noah sat silently in his room, the only sound being the light tapping of the keyboard as he typed on his laptop. He was faintly aware that the hour was light, going from the fact that there was no sunlight coming into his room, but as to what the time actually was he really didn't have a clue. As the young man quickly downed the last of his third soda, it might as well be two in the afternoon for all he cared. He just continued to stare intently at the screen, pulling up news articles and matching them with several reports on the New Order database. He was on the lookout for any large movements of mutant activity that they should be aware of. He knew the government probably had professionals for this kind of thing, but he had the time, so why not? Chances were he was a faster worker than a lot of them anyone.
His laptop suddenly flashed a small warning that his battery was about to die, and Noah couldn't help but smirk a little. He touches his fingers gently to the side of the screen, and in only a few seconds the charge read 100%. Being the mutant version of the energizer bunny definitely had its perks. Still, the distraction caused him to take a deep breath and sit back in his chair, his strained eyes finally looking away from the computer as he shut the lid carefully. Sometimes he didn't really know what he was doing here. He told himself it was all with the best intentions, but there was no denying that being a mutant in an anti-mutant group seemed a bit off. Not that he would rather be in the resistance or anything like that...more like he just really wished he could be back at Seattle, spending his days quietly with his friends and family (or rather his mom). 'That life passed me by about five years ago, though,' he mused silently, shaking his head light.
Noah's gaze finally glanced to the alarm on his desk. 2:00 AM. It was still pretty early from him them. He stretched him arms on lightly, before hopping out of his chair. Maybe he could head down to the main computer lab and see if anything needed some work.
