Kevin wandered into the hospital looking seriously confused. He hadn't been in for a checkup...in well years. And suddenly it sprung on him to be an 'adult' now and go do the normal thing for a bit. Too bad he couldn't bring Connor with him. They could have done some nurse watching together. Ah well, more for me! he thought with a playful grin as he made his way to the desk.
The nurse handed him the sheet and he filled it out in minutes. Sauntering over to the nurse behind the desk he gave her the paper. "Kevin Pryde all filled out ma'am" he said with a wink as he made his way to a chair. Looking through the stacks of magazines he pulled out a Rolling Stone and saw on the cover, Gilgamesh. Not the band, only the person. Shrugging slightly he looked through it, not finding anything particularly interesting.
Throwing the magazine on the pile he sighed boredly as he let his mind wander. Of course he thought about Kat, his little sister. And her crazy sleepless nights with whoever it was she was banging now. He thought of his old man, still slinging webs around town. And of course his mother...lost and never found.

((sorry it took me so long hun! <33 I thought I replied to this ages ago.))
Today was really, like any other day for Lilian. She was working and it had already been a 6 hour shift so far. Not bad considering, but sometimes you get the weirdest people doing general work. But you can't make a difference without sacrificing something, and hours of sanity was a needed sacrifice. There were a lot of sick and injured people in the world, especially with Mutants at the level they were.
As she was passing the waiting area, she caught a thought that was rather... interesting. Though there was only one common person around who still moved around by slinging webs, Spiderman wasn't exactly a hard one to spot...which she didn't. But someone was thinking about him, a rarity in this sort of place. Honestly Lilian didn't care if she looked crazy, but she took a few steps into the room and looked around, gleaming what she could from the ten or so people scattered in the room. Most everyone seemed to be thinking about themselves directly. There was a large man in the corner thinking about his ulcer, a woman thinking about her daughter's possible STD, the rest were handfuls of injuries. Sprains, breaks, colds.... but there were two of them thinking of very different things. One.... well something she didn't care to know about, and the other his family as far as she could tell. It wasn't that she was incapable, simply that she wasn't digging.
Stepping over to the nurse and retrieving what she said was his paperwork, she walked up to him, a valid reason to talk to him. "Hi there Mr.Pryde. I'll be your doctor today, if you want to follow me."
Motioning for him to follow, she turned away rather quickly, a slight blush reddening her face. Her own mind was going frantic with the creation of a thousand different questions shooting around in her head. Aside from his obvious attractive features, his name and that one thought seemed to be nagging most in her mind. Hundreds of questions from those two alone were leaping around every minute.
Opening the door to the exam room at the end of the hall she turned to offer her hand as a greeting. "Sorry, forgot to introduce myself. Doctor Xavier.

(It's all cool ^^)
Kevin's thoughts were rolling around in his head. His little sister was growing up. Fast. And he almost felt as if he couldn't protect her anymore. Little Kat. In a strange way she reminded him of their mother. Their mother....
Jumping out of his thinking state Kevin jolted a little at a voice directed at him. Looking up he relaxed rather quickly into a soft featured face. Hellooo nurse! was what popped into his head immediately. A little embarrassed but hey, he couldn't hide his feelings. Standing up, Kevin took to following the doctor, a slight smile on his face at her looks.
He stepped into the exam room as she opened the door and turned to look at her, his hands in his pockets, staring sheepishly and albeit a little blushing going on as well. He froze slightly as she mentioned her name. Xavier? As in the Xavier? What the hell? Nah nah..coincidence. That's a common name...right? I mean...Xavier? Should....should I bring it up? Maybe she knows about mom!
"I...I'm sorry. Xavier? Would you happen to be related to a Professor Charles Xavier? I know it's a long shot, and I'm sorry for intruding. It's just...I was raised in a school run by an Xavier. It's not that common of a name actually." He finished, smiling at her.
