Things had started to get very interesting. Seemed that Richard had gotten himself into something big. 'New Order' Kiryu wasn't overly familiar with the name, he knew they weren't cops, but were still government types. He was pretty sure they specialized in taking out dangerous mutants, which would explain why they were here, except for the fact that Richard hadn't done any major crimes, just petty theft. Perhaps Richard had done something in his home land? Kiryu made a mental note to ask, but now he had a bigger problem, should he choose to help his room mate or leave. If they took Richard he might mention Kiryu and come after him as well, and Kiryu couldn't have that.
Kiryu began to move when suddenly everything began to get covered in some kind of black substance, smoke possibly? Though it wasn't like any smoke he'd ever seen before. After a couple of seconds Kiryu could barely see his hand in front of him. Was this Richard's doing? Kiryu slowly moved towards where he had last seen RIchard, his mental map guiding him. As long as he didn't spin round too much and could keep a general gist of where he was facing Kiryu would be able to get out of here.
Kiryu stopped as he felt something touch his foot. He looked down to see Richard.
"Having a good day at the mall kiryu" Richard asked.
"Shh..Not so loud, your new friends don't know we know each other, I'd like to keep it that way. Follow me, stay low, I'll get us out of here." Kiryu whispered into Richard's ear as he helped him up. Kiryu turned if he was right they should be facing the way Kiryu had just come which should lead them through the mall and towards one of the other exists.
"So what's this New Order want with you." Kiryu whispered after they'd started moving.
