Can't Avoid Fate [[Test/open]]

Tonya had the day off from work which was always a lovely thing. She didn't have anything on the agenda so her day was free. Earlier though she had helped out her father paint the kitchen of their house a sweet looking maroon color. One would probably wonder why a kitchen would be painted such an odd color. But Tonya's father was like her in many ways, or rather she was like him. They both had odd tastes in things and preferred to let their personalities show in everything that they did. After the kitchen had been painted she hooked up with her youngest older brother to do a little skating around the neighborhood. That was one skate session that she needed since her skills were starting to get a little rusty.

By the time she had finished with those things it was about 5:00 in the afternoon. She had plenty of hours left to find something else to entertain herself with. Although she looooved skateboarding, it was out of the question since she was pretty spent. No need to push yourself like that and end up injuring yourself. Instead, Tonya made up her mind to hit up the mall to do a little shopping. It wasn't your typical girl shopping either. She was shopping for skirts and other pretty things that the girls liked to wear. No what she was on the hunt for was some new games... and maybe some more beanies. Like always she headed towards the subway to catch a train to her destination.

And wouldn't you know it, fate had something else in mind for her today. Some moron wearing a dark shirt got it in his mind that he was going to rob unsuspecting people that crossed his path. Hearing a woman scream, Tonya turned toward the commotion and spotted the guy holding her at gun point. She looked around, but couldn't spot any sort of security officers around. With sigh she began walking in the direction of the criminal, cracking her knuckles. ”Why can't I go one day without busting skulls?” she asked no one in particular.

[TEST]

Babs was in subway station minding her own business when she heard screams of peril. Looking up from her newspaper she spotted the culprit instantly. Kind of hard not to when he was sporting a gun. And it looked to be aimed at a girl. And she was walking towards him. Taunting him.

Moving from the post she was leaning on Babs headed toward the commotion. "Let me through, ah can handle this." she murmed to the people in her path. She grabbed for one of her flasks hidden in her black cargo capri pocket, she had about three on her. And despite the appearance, all were filled with water.

Pouring a bit on her right hand she made her way through the crowd, walking behind the man. She pocketed the flask and tapped the man on his shoulder with her left hand.

"Excuse mah mister. Ah don' think that's tha way ta ask a purty gal on a date. Why don' ya try someone a lil older?" she said with a little smile as she balled her right hand in a fist, aimed straight for his stomach.

Tonya was about to give the guy a swift punch to the gonads when another woman pushed her way on the scene. And what was this? Was she pouring liquor onto her hands? What the hell kinda use would that be. She got into her hand that this woman had some issues to work out and that she was just another human trying to save the day. As far Tonya knew, she was the only mutant around capable of stopping the attack. Before she got to do anything, the other woman garnered the man's attention. With him being distracted by the blonde chick, she used her power of magnetism to yank the gun from the man's hand.

It flew into her hand as the other woman was throwing a punch at the guy, hopefully it would knock the wind outta the bastard. Tonya dropped the gun having no use for it and watched the events unfold in front of her. The woman that was the victim of the attack had managed to make her escape in all the confusion going on. Someone in the subway though had the nerve to yell out “freak” to Tonya upon witnessing the use of her powers. ”Hey shut the fuck up! If it weren't for me you could have a bullet in ya head right now! Can't believe people can be such idiots.” She shook her head adjusting the fingerless gloves on her hands.

[TEST]

Connection hit as the man was shot back into a pillar, as if his own weight had knocked him. Glancing back at the attacker she noted he wasn't dead, luckily. Wiping her hand dry on her jeans she looked at the younger girl. "Nice work there." she said in her Texan accent, a small smile on her lips.

Her eyes shifted to the man who called out freak. Crazy to think there were still non-believers in the mutant faction. Even in the current age with the New Order broadcasting their 'love' for the mutant race.

Turning back to the girl, Babs offered her hand, "Tha names Babs." she said with a friendly smile. Her other hand weighted comfortably on her hip, her long blond hair hanging.

”Holy crap!” Tonya was so not expecting to see the guy get hurled across the platform from one little punch. There always seemed to be more to ta person that what you could see on the surface. The man's body slammed into a pillar before collapsing to the ground in a crumbled heap. She looked at the man with a smirk on her face before turning to the young lady. The nice work was for the disarming obviously since she hadn't laid a single finger on the jackass. Seeing that really made her want to go and kick some criminal ass to be honest. Tonya was one of those chicks that looked sexy under all those baggy clothes and loved to whoop ass. She nodded to the woman while shaking her hand. ”Nkosazana,” she said, klick and all. She knew that the woman probably wouldn't be able to say her name properly so she add, ”Tonya if that's easier. How did you punch that guy that hard? Super strength?”
