• Power [/color] | Light manipulation:

Adrien has the ability to control, generate and absorb photons, or rather, light particles. This means, he can draw in photons from bright atmospheres, store them in his body, and release them as blasts of bright light. This can be emitted as strong flashes of light from his hands, or a glow from his body, or even balls of light. As well as creating light, Adrien can create darkness by absorbing enough photons to “drain” the area.

Being able to manipulate photons, means Adrien can refract light, granting him invisibility, however, this can only be done in places with a sufficient amount of light, in other circumstances; he would be able to manipulate the darkness to hide himself.
With time, and practice, Adrien has the potential to take his power further, harnessing the particles to create lasers, and, while absorbing, encompass a wider area, meaning his created darkness could stretch further.

The downsides to these powers are that he can only store light particles for a short period, as they start to build up and causes him headaches, however, if the store gets too great, his body will emit light automatically, much like a failsafe. Also, if kept in a dark place without a source of light for too long it makes him feel ill and generally weak. Absorbing and creating light for too long also wears him out, after all he's a man, not a flashlight, and if this occurs he would need time to recover, while his body returns to its normal status quo.

• Overall Abilities[/color] | Trained by Remy himself, Adrien is a suave charmer and thief, and with the aid of his mutant powers, is able to do the job better than some that have spent their entire lives thieving. As part of his training, he is able to pick pockets, lock pick, avoid detections by lasers, hot wire a car, and crack the simplest of safes.

He can also wield a Bo staff, has extensive training in Savate and a basic knowledge of Judo.

With blue eyes and blonde hair, Adrien knows that he attracts the ladies and often uses this to his advantage, stealing their heart and their purse with one cheeky smile. He prefers to keep clean shaven, but has been known to let stubble grow if he can’t be bothered to find the razor.

Choosing a relaxed style rather than anything too fancy, he is most often seen in jeans and a comfortable top, something dark typically to hide easily, but since his mutant power can conceal him easily, he can often wear bright clothes if the mood takes him.
His uniform consists of black and silver body armour (after all, just because he’s invisible, doesn’t mean he can’t take a hit), spiked gauntlets (for that added punch) and steel toed boots.

• Overall Personality[/color] | Adrien tries his best to look on the bright side of life as often as possible. While this bright demeanour is at contrast with his upbringing, he is an optimist through and through, and it takes a great deal to bring him down. He is also quite a joker, sometimes t the extreme of not taking something too seriously. He is also a romantic at heart, if not a tiny bit of a charmer and flirt, but now because of his new wife, tries to tone it down

He is a very loyal person, once you gain his trust he will bend over backwards for you, literally! However, it is usually quite hard to gain his trust, due to his suspicious nature.

• Overall history[/color] | An accident of birth, Adrien was born to BellaDonna Boudreaux and Assassin Casper Chevalier one March morning. His mother and father had planned to wed after the boys birth, however, when Adrien was only a few weeks old, Casper was killed while on a job for the Guild. While his death was widely regarded as a sad casualty of their job, some Assassins still believed it was part of a ploy to intimidate them, but nothing was ever proved and the murdered was never found. Left alone to bring up the boy, BellaDonna tried the best she could, training him, as she had been, from an early age to join the Guild, using her extensive family of the Guild to help.

However, by the time the boy was reaching his late childhood, it because clear to Bella that he didn’t have the stomach to be an Assassin, while he flourish in the stealth section of his training, when it came to killing in cold blood, he was less willing to proceed. It was around this time that the Guild war was on the brink of tearing the Assassins and Thieves apart, and BellaDonna was called forth as head of the Assassins to stop the inevitable onslaught. With the help of Remy, a shaky truce was made, with conditions set in place so a war would not happen. One of these condition was that the Thieves would train a child of the Assassins, and the Assassins would train a child of the Thieves, this would not only bring the two groups together, but would make sure neither double crossed each other, as they had a child they could hold hostage.
And so, this was how Adrien came to be swapped with LeBeau’s son Claude, as a testament of BellaDonna’s commitment to the cause.

Under Remy’s tutorage, Adrien became a fine thief, and developed a talent for it that he had lacked when training to be an assassin. The LeBeaus became part of his family in the time he spent with them, the girls becoming as annoying as little sisters and Remy as a surrogate father.

Just shy of his 13th birthday, Adrien’s mutant powers manifested, and Remy took him to Xavier’s mansion for tutelage, with BellaDonna’s permission. It was a hard time for the thief, away from his family and friends, he at first found it hard to fit in, but as the awkward teenage phase past, he began to feel more at home, and threw himself into training and his studies, determined to make his mother, and Remy proud. When the LeBeau girls moved to the Mansion, Adrien realised the awkward feeling he had for Rozz as a child, were actually the beginnings of a crush, and even though she was 13 and he was 16, he reciprocated her advances, but tried not to take it too far, in case people judged them because of their age gap.
When the New Order targeted the Mansion, Adrien stepped up to the challenge, defending the younger ones while rallying the older kids to defend their home. Getting everyone to safety, Adrien stayed with the kids to look after them, and tried to stop Rozz from going after her brother and father. When the news came that Rogue and Remy were dead, Adrien was stunned, and it took him a while to come to terms with the death of his idol and his wife.

Nearly loosing Rozz on top of them was the final straw. After her suicide attempt, Adrien promised himself that he would protect her, at all costs, and finally brought himself to tell her how he felt about her once she awoke. They shared their first kiss in the hospital, and he made her promise not leave him again. They were married on Rozz’s 21st birthday.

She wasn’t in bed when he awoke, and a small slither of fear worked its way into his hazy world as he registered this fact. Not that he didn’t trust his new wife, he would place his life in her hands in a heartbeat, but ever since she’d run away, there was always that worry that she;d do it again. And he didn’t know what he would do if she did it again.

Getting slowly to his feet, Adrien threw on a crumpled t-shirt so he wouldn’t be wandering around the LeBeau mansion topless, someone was bound to comment. Following his nose as he smelt the fresh coffee, he shuffled down the hallway to the kitchen, stifling a yawn as he stood in the doorway. His earlier fear was chased away like a bad dream as he saw Rosalie there.

“Mornin’,” he mumbled to Claude and Rozz, giving them both a half hearted wave.
“Coffee… coffee is needed…” he said as a simple explanation as he made a beeline for the coffee pot. “Not interruptin’ anyt’ing I hope,” he said, swiping a hopefully clean mug from the draining board and pouring the life saving black liquid into it.
