Heart Shaped Herb

Thanks to the Heart Shaped Herb , Adanna has enhanced speed, agility, strength, endurance and senses. All of these attributes have been raised to near superhuman levels. With her enhanced senses the Black Panther can see in complete and total darkness as if it was bright as day, and can see something 100 feet as if it were right in front of her. With her sense of smell she can track someone across a continent with her sense of smell, memorize tens of thousands of smells and can sometimes detect fear in a person. She can hear things that normal humans can't as well as sounds that they can, but at a distance not possible with normal ears. She can hear the breathing and heartbeats of enemies. With her sense of taste she can determine any ingredients in anything she eats.

The Heart Shaped Herb also created a connection between Adanna and the Panther God, the deity her people worship.

Mutation-Sonokinesis (Sonic Scream)

Sonic Scream, also called Voice/Vocal Amplification- is the ability to mentally manipulate sound waves. This can be used to go beyond one’s current vocal ability, Adanna can generate a supersonic (louder-than-audible) scream which is capable of breaking glass, deafening foes and sometimes knocking people unconscious or disrupting thought patterns.

Black Panther Uniform

Her costume's gloves house anti-metal claws that dissolve other metals on contact, and can pierce just about any substance. Her boot heels and soles are thick Vibranium alloy pads which can vibrate at various frequencies, allowing hher to run up the sides of buildings, land soundlessly and without injury from a height of 50 feet and slice through metal.

Preferring close hand to hand combat, Adanna rarely carries firearms, but SHIELD insist she carry at least two standard issue handguns, which are holstered either side of her thighs.

• Weaknesses [/color] | If Adanna overuses her sonic scream ability, her voice will become hoarse like any other human, only much faster due to the strain on her vocal chords. The number of sonic screams she can issue at any given time is around three per hour, but as stated earlier, the next day she may wake to no voice at all. Also if Danni were in extrema pain for any reason, deep wounds, childbirth etc. involuntary screams may be supersonic in nature, as she would struggle to retain control over her power.

Having enhanced senses also means that she is sensitive to certain things like very loud music, offensive smells such as body odor and garbage, and bright flashes of light. If she is unprepared for any of these things it could severely throw her off her game, or even stun her for a few moments.

Danni's biggest weakness is her family and her homeland, Wakanda. If either of these are threatened, because she is still quite young and still learning to grasp her powers, she may do something brash that would lead her into a trap.

She learned to fight both at home (from the best warriors in Wakanda) and abroad, from skilled teachers to her mothers old team of X-men. Adanna has traveled the whole world to learn various skills, some academic and others more focused on her combat, even on how to conduct herself in UN situations.

Adanna speaks Wakandan, English and Arabic fluently, and can also speak the languages of Wakandas closest neighbors, though she is not fluent in them. On the whole she is a well learned young woman.

Adanna is a tall young woman, just like her mother Ororo, and has the same subtle curves as her too. Her skin isnt as dark as all the other members of her Wakandan tribe, but her mothers mixed heritage is most likely the answer to that. Danni has a shock of fast growing black hair, that she likes to have in various styles, from long and curly, to a short Mohawk. Her lips are full and bow shaped, but the most striking feature about her face is her eyes, they are almost a feline shade of hazel, bordering on a yellow-gold that the tribe attributes to the panther goddess Bast.

Her everyday wear is pretty relaxed, though as a princess and representative of Wakanda, she tries to wear nice, often designer clothes. But in the privacy of her own company, shes happy in some jeans and a tee. She also has the usual blue SHIELD jumpsuit, that she wears around base.

Adannas black Vibranium-weave Black Panther uniform absorbs the kinetic force of impacts, rendering her practically bulletproof, the suit however can be sliced, if cut along the grain. With this almost fetishised uniform, she wears her weaponised Vibranium boots that reach all the way up to her thighs, and her full length black claw gloves (mentioned in weapons).

Adanna is a quiet woman, always the keen observer, her senses picking up on subtle hints that would have otherwise gone unnoticed by the less superhuman. She tries her best to be polite and follow proper etiquette, as a representative of Wakanda, but sometimes the facade slips, especially if someone is particularly ignorant. She isn't one to sleep around, she thinks it cheapens her being if she does so, a princess and a lady is not supposed to be used up before they hit twenty. That's not to say she isn't a flirt.

As Black Panther, Danni lets loose a little, she plays on her almost fetish appearance and superhuman senses by giving off a feral personality, almost becoming the Panther. Shes quick and cutthroat, all the etiquette lost when she becomes the superhero.

After Storm left the X-Mansion with the toddler Adonis, her adoptive son in tow and left for Africa, Ororo quickly wound up in Wakanda and with her old lover the Black Panther T'Challa. The two struck up a romance and T'Challa took the child Adonis as his own, before the two found out they were expecting a child of their own. The pair were married before the birth of their daughter, Adanna.

The little girl idolized her adorable big brother as she grew up, not noticing or even caring (as most children don't) the differences in their pigmentation, all she knew was that she had someone to play with and to look out for her. Adonis was always a better fighter than Adanna when T'Challa was training them in Wakandan Martial Arts, something she only realized the reason for as they got older and he found out who he truly was.

Danni never acted as spoiled as Adonis did, always being the quieter, more humble of the two. The day her mutation flared up was not one of these days. She was arguing with her brother, who had stole her diary to get on her nerves when she snapped, screaming as loud as she could to ease some of the tension, though it wasn't any normal scream, it was enough to shatter all the windows, glass and chandeliers in the immediate vicinity. Storm knew that her little girl was a mutant from that point, not that it was any surprise, having a mutant mother and Wakandas high mutant birth rate.

For the rest of her teenage years Adanna trained hard, hoping to succeed where her aunt had failed and become the next Black Panther. At 18 years old, Adanna, challenged her father and beat him in fair combat. After that, Adanna fought 6 of Wakanda's best warriors (each more than a match for any normal man) all at once. After this she accomplished several other tasks to prove her worthiness and increase his physical prowess and spiritual strength. After all her tasks had been completed, Adanna was allowed to undergo the ritual that would make her the Black Panther. She had the juices of the Heart of Wakanda, a heart shaped herb that bestowed incredible physical prowess and heightened senses, was applied to her body (the process would kill any man who was unworthy, or not a member of the royal line) and was given royal attire, the costume she wears today. Both her parents were proud that she managed to pass these tests, not that they doubted her of course.

Given the situation the world is in because of the New Order, and the high rate of mutation in Wakanda due to the Vibranium mound, Adanna took it upon herself to defend her nation in the only way she knew how, by joining the UN body known as SHIELD, and take down these oppressors before they got close to her homeland.
