Psionic Blasts
BellaDonna can shoot beams of intense psionic energy from her hands. These beams are very hot and capable of melting whatever it comes into contact with. If concentrating, she can cause an object to to shatter or explode as well as just melting, though this has taken many years of practice.
Psionic Scanning
She can scan an area psionically to see if an object or subject is in said area, usually in one’s line-of-sight. If the subject is located she can then, to a certain degree, read the mind of them. This powers is mainly used as a lie detector and can only read the most baseline of thoughts.
• Weapons | BellaDonna’s main (and favourite) weapon is her prized katana . As leader of the Assassins Guild, she also has access to a multitude of weapons ranging from shall throwing knives, to heavy duty guns.
• Weaknesses |
Her psionic blasts tire her, and if she has been using these powers for a long time, it drains her energy and needs to “recharge”. This also applies to her psionic scanning, and if she has been scanning a participant for a long time, this often results in a migraine from information overload as well as nose bleeds.
Her psionic scanning is not without its fault. Not a powerful telepath, she can only scan the surface thoughts, if a person worked hard to hide a thought she would not be able to read it.
BellaDonna is very determined, and this can ultimately be her downfall. If she wants something, she will do her best to get it or die trying. While she tried to stay cool and aloof, her family is her weak spot, and if any hard is done to them, or they are threatened, she would go to the ends of the earth to seek justice or protect them.
• Skills | Trained as an Assassin from an early age, BellaDonna is very learned in all aspects of the assassin way of life, from stealth and secrecy to torture and assassination. While the Assassins allow guns, BellaDonna prefers hand to hand combat, usually with swords, daggers or just fists. She is trained extensively in Battōjutsu (which relies heavily on katana usage), Gōjū-ryū karate (for hand to hand combat) and firearm usage.

• Height | 6”
• Weight | 150lbs
• Hair color & Style | Naturally blonde, left long
• Eye color | Blue
• Face claim | Daryl Hannah
• Overall Appearance |
With blonde hair and blue eyes, many people are often fooled into believing BellaDonna is as innocent as an angel, but appearances can be deceiving. BellaDonna noticeable wears an eye patch, after losing her eye in a fight searching for her partner’s killer. While she could wear a glass eye, she finds an eye patch is much more intimidating and, if anything, draws respect off people.
She is usually most comfortable wearing suits, or some sort of smart clothing, as head of the Guild she had a level of business she wishes to uphold. While on jobs, she usually falls back to her old “uniform”, a black/purple body suit. This is usually accompanied by holsters for guns, swords and daggers.
She carries herself with a fierce confidence, and always tries to hide her true emotion behind a mask (hence the “war paint” she ritually puts on every morning). Despite her aging years, BellaDonna still uses her womanly figure to its full advantage, and is never afraid to show a bit of skin

• Favorite Color | Purple – used to show richness and importance in ancient times
• Likes |
• Dislikes |
• Fears | Loosing her family, loosing the Guild, death
• Goals/ dreams | To leave a legacy for her children to inherit, build the Guild up to become more powerful than it’s ever been
• Overall Personality |
BellaDonna is a very determined individual, once she’s made her mind up about something theres no dissuading her from it. She’s also very passionate, about her Guild and her family and everything she does really. She was taught ruthlessness at her daddy’s knee, and does not think twice about ending someones life.
She is prone to fits of anger, especially if she doesn’t get her own way (something of her spoilt brat childhood surfacing), and it is best at these times to stay clear of her. She can hold a grudge for a while, longer than most and does not easily forget if she had been wronged in the past, usually the person doesn’t get a chance to wrong her again.
Despite this, she is loving towards her children, her pride and joy, though she keeps this from view and perhaps sometimes from her children themselves, her affection coming out in other ways such as pushing them to achieve their best as she knows she has it in them.

• Overall history |
BellaDonna was born to the head of the New Orleans Assassins Guild, Marius Boudreaux and his wife Juliette. Their second child, but only daughter, BellaDonna was treated like a princess by her mother and doted on by her father. When her mother died from an aneurism in the brain, when BellaDonna was only 5, Marius grew colder, and began to train his daughter to become a ruthless Assassin. His plan was to create the perfect secret assassin, with the face of an angel but as deadly as the plant she was named for.
BellaDonna soon became renowned for her fighting style, especially when getting into scraps in the street. It was during one of these fights with some other children, that a knight in shining armour came to her “rescue”, the young Remy LeBeau. Their friendship started out rocky, more love/hate and One-upmanship than sleepovers and sharing milkshakes. But the two grew steadily closer as they matured, knowing they came from different Guilds, but unable to stop seeing each other. Remy was the first person BellaDonna showed her emerging powers to, though she could never read his mind like she could other people, he was a closed book to her.
Their fathers saw this and, seeing a way to put a truce to the old Thief/Assassins rivalry. The two were to be married once they reached 18, however, their marriage was barely minutes old before Julien, BellaDonna’s brother, challenged Remy to a duel to the death, ashamed that his sister had married a thief. Remy killed Julien after his powers manifested itself, and he was banished for killing an Assassin.
BellaDonna mourned the loss of her husband whom she had barely been a wife to, and fell into a spiral of drink and drugs. It was the darkest period of her life, she was kept back from missions as her father feared for her safety and she was a liability, so with nothing else to do, she began to have an affair with a new member of the Assassins, a man her age called Casper.
The light at the end of the tunnel came when she realised she was pregnant. With a new life growing inside her, she knew she had to clean herself up. She began a relationship with the childs father, a steady one and she flourish during the pregnancy and with the love of a man to lift her.
The boy arrived one March morning, after a particularly long labour for BellaDonna. She named him Adrien, and gave him the middle name of Marius for her father, who at the time was growing weaker with old age.
Casper was keen to wed BellaDonna, but she had been burned before by marriage and refused to accept, arguing that they could carry on as normal, having a ring on her finger meant nothing to her. With a new baby to look after, BellaDonna took a step back from the more physical side of the Guild, staying with her frail father more to learn the business side of the Guild, so one day she could take over the reins of leadership.
Eight years after the birth of her son, BellaDonna and Casper tried for another child and she fell pregnant quickly, this time with a girl. A few weeks short of her due date, Casper was out on a job for the Assassins and was killed, shot in the head by a bullet. The shock of her partners death sent BellaDonna into premature labour, but, to everyone’s relief, she gave birth to a live and healthy girl and called her Charlaine.
BellaDonna tried hard not to sink back into blackness after her daughter was born, but the death of Casper was still raw. When Charlaine was barely two months old, BellaDonna went out to find the name of her partner’s killer. During one particularly nasty fight, she lost her eye and nearly her life. It was then that she realised she couldn’t carry on with her suicide mission, not with two children who needed her.
The death of Casper brought tensions between the Assassins and Thieves to a boiling point, with the Assassins eager to place the blame of his death on their old enemies, and the Thieves quick to say they had no involvement. BellaDonna came face to face with her ex-husband to call a truce before war broke out. Many options were looked over before it was agreed that the only way to get each side to trust each other was to exchange something precious, the first born sons of the head of the Guilds. BellaDonna knew she had to give away her son to save her Guild, and knew in her heart that her son was not cut out to be an Assassin, he lacked the cut throat ruthlessness her family had.
She welcomed Remy’s son, Claude wearily at first, before he became almost a surrogate son to her. He flourished well under her tutelage, and BellaDonna began training him and her own daughter in the ways of the Assassins.
Not long after he entered his teens, it was revealed that Adrien was a mutant, BellaDonna agreed to let him go to Xavier’s school, hiding the sorrow of her son moving even further away from her. She focus her attention on Charlaine to hide the loss, and worked her hard, just as her father had to her, as she knew she could reach her full potential if she pushed her hard.
When word reached BellaDonna that the Mansion had been hit by New Order, she sent word that Adrien was to return home at once, it was the first time in a long while that she had felt proper fear for the safety for her family and herself. With the help of members of the Thieves, she and the Assassins worked hard to make sure that New Orleans became a safe place for mutants, with New Order members shot on sight and the boarders patrolled 24/7 so the Guilds wouldn’t be caught unaware by the “outside world”.
Charlaine’s mutant powers manifestation was no shock to BellaDonna, who expected her daughter to turn out like her brother and develop powers, but when her youngest poisoned the entire school with her powers, it was decided to keep her away from others until she could handle her powers. BellaDonna homeschooled her along with members of the Guild to make up for the tutoring she would miss at school. In the end, Charlaine’s powers were a blessing in disguise, allowing her daughter to become more deadly, literally, than her mother; she soon became the Guilds secret weapon.
When her son announced that he was to marry Rosalie, Remy’s middle child, BellaDonna was at first sceptical, citing her own marriage for the proof that Assassins and Thieves never lasted long together. But, as he pointed out, he was no longer a true Assassin, and that the truce had held strong in the face of a bigger threat, showing her there was hope yet. She eventually gave them her blessing, never truly warming to Rozz in true typical mother-in-law fashion, and gifting Adrien with a fast car for his wedding present in case he ever needed “a break from it all”.
With her son busy with Resistance force, BellaDonna began training all her Assassins harder than before, knowing soon a war would break out, and her son would need all the help he could get.

“What’s a nice gent like you doin’ in a place like this, humm?” Bella smiled at the man next to her at the bar. She was perched on a barstool, the black leather mini skirt hitched up to expose more thigh than was probably deemed respectable. She battered her eyelashes at the middle aged man who had just occupied the barstool next to her. He was sweating profusely, loosening his brown tie as he waited to get served.
“Not a local, huh?” She asked, turning her body to face him so he would know she was addressing him. She allowed his eyes to wander down to her… assets, which were clearly emphasised in her red corset. “Like wotcha see there?” she asked as his eyes finally found their way back to hers.
She laughed lightly as he stuttered his apologies, “No need to apologise for admiring what God gave me.” The man seemed to sweat more in the Louisianna heat as she called him out, he took a handkerchief from his suit pocket as he dabbed his forehead. She carried on smiling at him, waiting until he’d gather what was left of his wits before she continued.
“So you’re not a local then? I’m sure I would have spotted you around,” she asked again, twirling a lock of her short blonde hair around her fingers.
“No, erm no. I’ve had dealings in the past here but... Goddamn it I don’t remember it being this hot!”
“Well, honey, lemme be the first to welcome you back to New Orleans.” She waved her hand at the bartender, “Two glasses of the house wine.” She slammed down a bill on the bar surface, which was quickly replaced with two glasses of red liquid.
She picked up one and swirled the liquid round inside, bringing it up to her face as she smelled the bouquet. “Muhh, vintage…” She looked up at him over the brim of the glass, glad to see that he gulped a little. “Here...” She passed him the glass she was holding before picking up the other. “To new acquaintances,” she toasted, clinking her glass with his before taking a sip.
The man sat dumbfound, finally lifting the glass to his mouth and gulping down most of the contents. Bella had to bite back a laugh as she watched his expression change from satisfaction to confusion. He coughed, scrabbling at his throat as it constricted. The glass fell from his hand, falling on to the bartop with a crash as his head began to loll from side to side. Bella sighed, giving the man a prod in the shoulder so he would lose his balance and fall face first onto the bar counter.
“Welcome back to New Orleans darlin’,’” she spat at him, slipping off the bar stool as she pulled down her skirt. She closed the lid of the ring she had hidden the drug in, the opal stone hiding the secret compartment within it. The drug would knock the poor sap out for a good few hours, just enough time for her brother and friends to “ruff him up”. She didn’t know the details of his plan, all she needed to know was that she would be used as bait and the guy had thoroughly angered the Guild on his last trip. That was a good enough reason for Bella Donna.
She stalked towards the exit where a familiar face smiled at her. “He’s all yours Julian; just remember you owe me for this. I expect at least something in return though; I ain’t dressed up as a two bit hooker for nothing y’know.” Her brother’s laughter followed her out into the sticky Louisiana night where another member of the Assassins Guild waited for her. “Take me home, Louie, I’ve done my good deed for the family tonight.
