' A b i l i t i e s

• Power [/color] | Thanks to the duel-mutant parents Leo has, Sasquatch and Aurora, Leo posses a vast array of powers. His most prominent power is his incredible speed. Like his mother and uncle, Leo's speed is amazing. Like Aurora, Leo is capable of traveling at 99% the Speed of Light. The super-speed has also given Leo heightened reflexes, thanks to him being able to see the world with his eyes moving at super-speed and his brain reacting accordingly. This incredible power can be matched up with most any of his other powers to create an impressive arsenal of powers.

Of his other powers, Leo as has superhuman strength which also translates itself into a heightened state of durability for his body. Though not as powerful as his father (who has stood toe-to-tow with Hulk and fought to a stand-still), his strength currently only around 1 ton, which is still impressive. This, when coupled with his super-speed, can cause great damage. Super-speed punches backed with super-strength create a dangerous mix. As for his durability, this is coupled with an insane super-human stamina, which is needed in order for him to continuously use his super-speed. Leo's durability is nothing more then what is needed to withstand the resistance of air and particles and other things that would hit the body while running at the high speeds. This, though, does translate into some protection from projectiles coming toward him from outward sources.

Leo was also able to gain the power of flight from his mother, which goes along with his super-speed.

• Weapons [/color] | Himself
• Weaknesses [/color] | Despite the impressive list of powers Leo posses, he is not without his faults. Though he has had his powers for a few years, they are all still new to him. He has the control, but he doesn't know his own limits. One of his biggest weakness is not knowing how much of his own powers to use in a situation.

His biggest downfall, however, is his anger and impatience. When together, the two become a major weakness. Leo can be quick to anger, and can fall into a blind rage. This is in thanks to some carry-over from the past-possession Tanaraq had on his father, Walter/Sasquatch. The demon could put Sasquatch into a blind fit of rage. This has seemed to, somehow, integrate into Leo's DNA and causes him anger and blind rages. His impatience and need/want for a job to be done can cause unneeded mistakes.

Obviously, like many speedsters, Leo gets bored incredibly easily. This quick-to-boredom can be seen as a case of ADD, though he claims it is just the world moving to slowly.

• Skills[/color] | Being born in a bilingual country, to an English-speaking father and a French-speaking mother, Leo is fluent in both languages. The young man's speed has easily translated itself into many other areas of his life. The speedster can quickly analyze anything placed before him and formulate plans quicker then most. This, though, doesn't always stick. Since he is so impatient, he hardly ever wants to plan things, despite his ability to do so with ease.

• Overall Appearance[/color] | During the day, or while awaiting payment, Leo can usually be seen in an unbuttoned suit. He usually sticks to a black or gray suit, with a white shirt underneath, accompanied by a black tie. This gives him a more serious look when he's out and about.

That is in sharp contrast though to what he wears at night. The seriousness can almost be said to be thrown out the window come night time. Though he rarely wears anything bright, even while clubbing, he will take the suit off and done a simple jean and shirt combo. To top it off, he has a brown fedora, which he thinks makes him seem less serious.

While in costume, or work-gear as he calls it, he wears a specially made protective suit. The suit is mainly black with yellow streaks and lines over it. The suit is durable, much like his body, to give added protection against the winds that hit his body at his high speeds. This suit is capped with a protective visor that covers his eyes so he is able to see as he goes at his amazing speeds.

As for his physical appearance, Leo has the body of a speedster, which makes perfect sense considering his powers. He is about average height, but is also fairly slim. While he does seem to have something of a boyish charm to him, with his messy hair and his brown eyes, Leo denies that he is.

• Favorite Color [/color] | Orange. Being around his dad, a giant orange Sasquatch, made him grow up loving the colour.

' Alcohol - Legal to drink in his own country for a year now (though he has for awhile), Leo enjoys himself a good drink every now and again.

' Stereotypes - To him, this is just rude and can cause unneeded conflicts.
' Homophobia - Being bi, he really can't stand this.
' Slowness - Being as fast as he is, he cannot stand things that go slower then they should.
' Serious people - Though he thinks of himself as serious, he can't stand when people take it to extremes.

• Fears [/color] | Loosing his powers - Failing to preform to his fullest potential - Having a demon inside him like his father had
• Goals/ dreams[/color] | Leo's main goal is to be the best at what he does. He wants to outperform his parents, and his parents original team, Alpha Flight. While he doesn't care to be the worlds greatest savior, or the worlds demise, he just wants to be the best at what he does.
• Overall Personality[/color] | While Leo claims to be a serious person, which he can be, he is actually pretty fun to be around. He enjoys making people look foolish, though he isn't a full-blown jerk. Though, that doesn't mean he isn't without his jerk-moments. Given that Leo can easily be pushed over the edge, he often looks for places and crowds that can keep him calm.

While in costume, Leo becomes more determined and serious. Because he is determined to get the money from his jobs, he will rarely stop until his job is finished to a tee. Though he can get caught up in his works, he wont every loose site of the world around him.

Parental History: After Aurora and Sasquatch had many on again off again relations (thanks to Aurora's split personalities), the two were finally able to get a relationship going and soon fathered a kid.

Born to Walter and Jeanne-Marie, two of Canada's most well known heroes, Leo was expected to become a hero much like his parents. He grew up around around his parents friends, the Alpha Flight team. Thanks to this exposure, Leo grew up learning many things about powers, control and how to use it all to his advantage,

Nothing to incredible happened while he was young. When not at home, Leo was pulled into the Alpha Flight building to learn and watch the team. Besides that, if the team was needed, Leo spent his time with the staff, causing them havoc and chaos, much to his delight.

Thanks to his powers, Leo's body grew quickly, though it wasn't fully noticeable. His body, height-wise, grew taller then most quickly, but his weight didn't follow thanks to his rapid metabolism. His powers came soon after his quick growth-spurt, which was expected by his parents and Alpha Flight.

He was taken out of school, though his mom and dad (both teachers) kept teaching him while he was out, and was trained by Alpha Flight to hone his powers. This, being taken out of school and away from his friends, caused his anger issues to be brought to the surface. After one day of hard training, Guardian (James Hudson) demanded more that Leo do more intense training since he had been doing so well. Leo lashed out at the request. Luckily for James, he was in a separate room. Unluckily, there were two workers in the same room as Leo who he assaulted and hospitalized. This caused James to drug the speedy teen then throw him in a holding cell. This, like the last, didn't sit well with him either. Using his strength and speed together, Leo broke out of his cell and went to find Guardian. Luckily for Guardian, his mom and uncle were able to catch the speeder before he made it far. After being talked down and calmed by the two, Leo demanded that he was allowed to leave.

It took about a month before Leo was allowed to leave. But once he did, he didn't stay anywhere to long. Thanks to his super-speed, he was able to go wherever he wanted to. He eventually settled down in New Orleans, seeing as it was more stable then New York. But that doesn't mean he doesn't go else where. He will go where the money takes him.

The night was dark, but that didn't bother Leo. His mother, and uncle, had light emitting powers, though he didn't. But because of this, he wasn't afraid of the dark. He always knew there would be light. It just might not always be around.

His eyes darted over the dark alley quickly, trying to find the illusive light source. It was there, but very dim. He analyzed the area all around him and he smirked. This place was quiet. It was a good place to be in order to cool off from a long day of work.

Leo rolled his neck and adjusted his suit before a voice caught his pointy ears. He shook his head as the man talked. "For that, you need more money. I'm not about to deal with your little bully problem for that little amount of money, especially if he has powers like you say.....Try again....More....There, that's more like it" he said to the man who had upped his offer three times to appease the speedster. Good, this was good. The money was nice, it meant he could go out more often. "Same place in two days, I'll expect the money. If I don't get it from you, I'll find you and get it. I think you know I can get all over this city quick enough to find you" he added he turned quickly and a whoosh sounded as the man fell on his butt thanks to Leo zipping past him with his super-speed.
