DJ has the ability of probability manipulation. He can change circumstances through concentration making unlikely things happen or make likely things not happen. He must have singular goal in mind to change the probability of a situation. It is singular in each usage. This ability stems from the natural affinity to chaos magic that he inherited from his mother which in turn was given to her by the demon Chthon when she was born. His hexes are by extensions, simple, indirect manifestations of this magic, destabilizing probabilities by inducing chaos.
DJ focuses his abilities through a specific energy projection called hex bolts. Using these hexes he can affect a targets probability. He needs to concentrate and use a certain hand gesture to perform these hex bolts. This ability has many varied potential applications, but the larger the shift of probability the harder it is for him to perform.

He is limited by how quickly he is able to think in a given situation. If he doesn't think quickly and specify a certain effect in a dangerous or unexpected situation his abilities will react automatically causing probability to change in a way that is dangerous not only to his target but likely to himself as well. He cannot change fate, nor can he make something impossible: this means that his power is not entirely infallible. His hexes has a 20 percent unreliability factor and is limited to his line of sight. He cannot watch a live TV broadcast and cast a hex at its point of origin.
If he is not well rested and in general good health the likely hood of his hexes taking an effect decreases. If he overs extends himself to much (I.E. casts to many hexes in a short amount of time) his hexes could backfire causing hexes to work against his wishes or to undo previous hexes.

DJ is a trained SHIELD agent. He is trained to use his standard SHIELD fire arm but doesn't use it much. He is trained in espionage and hand to hand combat His specialty is knife fighting. He is a self trained singer and guitar player. He speaks several dialects of Romani, as well as Romanian.

DJ shares his mothers auburn hair although a few shades darker due to his fathers genes. He has his fathers cold, surgical gaze but his mothers warm blue eyes. His skin is soft and pale, like porcelain. He has strong features, a strong jawline, soft pouty lips full and succulent. He has several piercings and many tattoos, including a full arm tattoo and one on the side of his rib cage. He has a nose rings and both ears are plugged. DJ has an European boy next door look.DJ has a bright smile, wide and open. His scowl however is something entirely different, it has been known to break down the strongest of will. He is tall and thin much like his uncle. His body is wiry muscle. He carries himself with great pride and strength people know when he enters a room.
Django dresses in a goth/punk fashion or what some of his friends have deemed Gypsy punk. Black band shirts, dark flannel, tight jeans with holes and tears in them, studded belts. He is always in his black leather jacket, its well worn and rather ratty but he loves it. He switches it out with a studded sleeveless denim vest jacket. Combat boots in black or a bright unique color and sunglasses. He has weird accessories from silver bangles, studded bracelets or even a gas mask or two. His sense of style while dark is whimsical. He mixes this with odes to his mothers culture, gold coin belts, bright and colorful pops of color, bright ornate head bandannas.
As Gypsy he has a mixture of a Shield uniform in black, instead of the standard blue. His arms are quarter sleeve and he has fingerless gloves. He wears standard black boots. The lining of the suit are in a deep crimson red giving a slight pop of individuality and color. He adds flair to his uniform with family jewelry or a new accessory.

Django Maximoff is a man who is ruled by his passion. He understands how the world works and sees why his grandfather was the way he was. DJ believes mutants are the dominant race and that humans need to step back and accept their place on the totem pole. He is proud to be a mutant and sees baseline humans as inferior. He is mostly lead by his hate for NO. It focuses his passion and directs all he does.He is a steel tempered person, cold when it comes to dealing with enemies. He like his grandfather, Magneto views the world as it is not as how he wishes it to be. He doesn't dream of a better world, he fights against a harsh world that is forced upon him. Although he is a fighter for mutant rights he has a side of him that enjoys life. He loves his family and fiends and enjoys his life as much as he can. Some people see him as bigoted against humans but he feels he is just supporting his people.
As Gypsy he is a SHIELD agent full and through. He is serious studious and loyal to whatever mission he is on. He uses his powers responsibly and has no tolerance for those employed by NO. He also has no mercy. He acts with cold efficiency when taking out NO or other mutant bigots. He does not take prisoners and would rather go for the kill. He is quiet when it comes to battle he is not one for boastful bravado when in battle.

Django Stephen Maximoff was born in the Wundagore Mountain in a small eastern European village named Transia a few years after his older half sister Lillian. This was the same village that his mother Wanda and her twin brother Pietro were born in. He was consummated in a passionate night of love while Stephen Strange had come to keep Wanda in check in case her powers flared again. After losing his title as sorcerer supreme and retiring from the New Avengers he went back to Wundagore to keep an eye on Wanda to make sure her powers didn't come back to her and cause any more damage. While keeping an eye on the unstable woman the two fell in love. The two lived together in the village and enjoyed their time together including a night filled with unbridled passion. This night led to the birth of Django or DJ as he is also known as.
He was a bright normal child who was loved by both his mother and father as well as the small tribe of Romani he and his parents lived with. His mother lived in a small village of Romani with her first daughter Lilian with Charles Xavier who settled and kept to their traditional ways. Although sheltered from the world he enjoyed a full childhood, filled with love and fun. His father home schooled him but allowed him to play with the other children in the village.He was often visited by his Uncle who came to check on his own sister and who brought his eldest daughter and two twins Karla and Kielar. He loved his cousins and would spend endless summers torturing his younger cousins and fearing his older one Luna. When he was thirteen his father began to explain the past of himself and his mother. He began to help DJ understand his mothers abilities in the hopes that if he developed powers like his mother he would be able to control them and keep his sanity. DJ took well to his lessons and began to grow close to his father. His mother was kept in the dark about this in case she remember her own abilities. When DJ reached puberty his powers developed. His mother who had been doing well mentally after the event of House of M had a nervous break down upon hearing of the death of her past lover Charles Xavier and soon became bed ridden yet again. After the death of her father Lilian soon left unable to deal with the mental disarray her mother had suffered. Leaving DJ and his father to care for the woman. This caused DJ serious pain. He felt anger that his sister would just up and leave her own family. He also felt anger at being stuck taking care of his mother on his own.
When Django was old enough he began to look for his own way out. He found what he thought would be his road to freedom a job at SHIELD. He soon enlisted and from then on he was raised at the base his father moving to Canada with him for a few years to help him accommodate. SHIELD ran tests on the boys mental facilities and his power development fearing a repeat of his mother. Hoping to eliminate the threat before it became one. When they deemed him sound. He was asked to join SHIELD, for the mere reason of keeping him close just in case. At first he did not want to help the mostly human organization but upon learning fully of his mothers mental breakdown and mass destruction he thought it would be best if he stayed with them in case he needed to be taken care of. He stayed with the organization and was happy to learn his uncle who he had barely known had joined as well. He hopped it would give them the chance to grow closer. He graduated SHIELD training and became a full agent on his 19th birthday. His father moved back to Wundagore to be with Wanda when he saw his son was taken care of and happy.

DJ had been called in to take care of this situation personally. It seems a super powered villain had been having a particular lucky streak and needed to be stopped. They sent the right person thought DJ to himself as he walked down the street. He had been following the man for two days now. The villain had been laying low since his most recent robbery and this was getting particularly boring for DJ. He felt like the mission was beneath him, he should be busting NO skulls against cold pavement not following some low level rent a villain. He sighed restlessly and watched the man enter a small coffee shop. A brown trench coat in 80 degree weather made things a little more interesting. What the hell was this man up to.
The man entered the bakery with DJ close behind. He watched the man and sure enough he watched what he cold only assume was a threatening note. DJ had followed the man into another robbery. Just as the man was about to pull out a gun, Django closed his eye and focused his powers. Working his hands into a gesture and concentrating on an effect he sent a hex bolt toward the unsuspecting robber. A flash of red energy shot from his hand hitting the gun the man was holding. Out of no where the gun backfired causing a small explosion in the face of the robber and causing him to stagger backward in shock. The man let out a shout of shock and dropped the hot gun. Seeing the immediate threat out of the way DJ decided to take further action. He sent another hex bolt towards the mans way, this time directly hitting him. This new hex caused the man to trip over his own feet and fall into a rather heavy table, causing the table to topple over on him.
DJ pulled out the SHIELD communicator from its holder on the side of his boot. Clicking the talk button he spoke into the black device. "This is agent Gypsy I have taken down the target and am forwarding my coordinates now". After pressing a succession of buttons he returned the communicator to his boot and walked toward what was left of the counter. DJ rested his elbows on what was left of said counter and looked up at the stunned Batista's face. "Could I get a tall slim Mocha cappachino? please." DJ asked nonchalantly.
