There was always some New Order patrol or surveillance group watching the old X-men mansion, Liliya used her magnetic abilities to make the place just a fuzz to scanning devices, but she wasn't awake or present twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The New Order knew there was someone held up in the old Mansion, and if Liliya would hazard a guess, she'd say over the last five years they'd probably gotten a few photos or videos, recorded enough audio and reports from their agents to have a pretty good idea who it was.
That didn't mean Lilya didn't like sneaking about and making things awkward for them. So from a distance, nicely within the walls of the Mansion, she was busy perceiving the world as just a bunch of electromagnetic waves. She could see....or perhaps....detect the agents. Two of the five, had tear gas canisters with them. With a smile Liliya made a little move of her fingers, causing the pins to pop out, moments later the group was stuck quite deep in a cloud of gas, while Liliya made sure to hold them in place.

WHEN I WANT YOU , i t s t o t a l r e v e n g e She had to admit to herself that working with Liliya wasn't at all bad, she had proven herself time and time again to be just as efficient, if not more, than both of her parents. The pair, over the years had developed a system for taking down operatives as soon as they were in any sort of proximity to the old X-Mansion. There was no point in maiming them, because they would only return with more, interrogation was pointless, low level grunts knew nothing of importance other than pleading for their lives, which got tiresome. A swift execution was the easiest answer, though they did get creative sometimes.
Laura was crouched low, watching the group of new order commandos advance tentatively through the overgrown grassy grounds. Well they didn't exactly have time to get out the lawnmower. As the CS gas canisters blew up her mouth quirked up in such a slight manner that not many people would have even noticed, but that meant show time.
As the cloud mushroomed and began to disperse she could hear them shouting over their com's as they began to panic, they always seemed to send newer and younger recruits, ones who weren't seasoned or trained enough to deal with mutants, some had never even come across a mutant. Well a mutant would be the last person they would meet today.
Laura stood to her diminutive height, the claws on both hands extending slowly and almost silently, only a very feint snikt could be heard, but they were non the wiser as they tried to contact their superiors for assistance.
She held her breath, pushing into a sprint and sinking the claws of each hand into a commando a piece, straight through the lungs. They briefly shuddered and tried to gasp for air as their lungs collapsed. X-23 retracted her claws and grabbed the head of one male as he dropped, wrenching his gas mask off and shoving it on her own face, gasping the filtered air.
The other three operatives turned as their comrades fell spluttering to the ground, she used one as a pivot, extending her foot claw as she sweep-kicked one to the neck, severing his jugular. The blood showered her in a quick burst as she wrenched the neck of the man she used as a pivot, a hollow *crack* rang out as his neck snapped. The last man shot at her wildly, hitting her in the abdomen. She lurched forward, falling to her knees as the wave of nausea passed over her, her hand feeling the body strewn ground for a gun. As the commando let his guard down, thinking he'd got her she grabbed a discarded handgun and shot him in the knee. As he wailed she pushed herself back onto her feet, her body pushing out the bullets in her liver. His eyes grew wide as she put the gun to his forehead and shot him point blank.

Liliya still wasn't comfortable in killing New Order agents and Commandos, but....it was war. It was....inevitable. She'd follow Laura into hell to save mutantkind, but could someone fight a war in hell and walk away spiritually intact? Liliya didn't think so. She left the actual killing to Laura ninety-nine point nine nine nine percent of the time, but when magnetic fields were being thrown around, bullets and bombs were going off, accidents happened...and sometimes, someone was too dangerous to be left alive.
Eitherway, the agents were dead, execution by adamantium claw. Liliya, or Warstar as she was called in these occasions, focusing on the iron in their blood, Warstar pulled them over to her (being careful to leave X-23's claws out of the fields) the bodies hovered in front of her, at the command of her hand, their ration packs and the useful, non-killing people based equipment went floating away, through a window into the living room of the old mansion, the guns and knives were broken down into lumps of metal and left on the yard. They'd be made into something later. After that, Warstar just hurled the bodies into space, using the planets Magnetosphere to catapult them up. Lets see the New Order find the bodies up there.

Wiping off the spurt of hot, fresh arterial blood on her shoulder, her deep brown eyes watched as the bodies rose up, as if descending to some sort of heavenly afterlife, if she had ever believed in such a thing. It was more of a poetic description than where she truly knew the New Order carcasses were headed, which for some people would be morbid, but to Laura it was just cleaning up a mess. This way, New Order were less likely to increase the bounty that lay on their heads.
Getting captured was not an option.
Her eyes burned a little from the tear gas but it was pretty negligible, she thought as she walked back to their 'base'. When she was clear of the acidic smell the gas left behind she finally took the gas mask off and rubbed at her eyes, manoeuvring over the debris as she did everyday with ease. Half of the fascia of the mansion was destroyed when the tactical nuke hit Liliya so it wasn't exactly the most picturesque place any more, but it served a purpose.
It was a beacon, inside the danger zone that was New York territory, young mutants still thought there was help to be found there, and to some degree there was, albeit an army of two. Entering the second story room she spotted her partner, throwing the gas mask on the floor she approached her and the blown out window “They were inexperienced, unprepared, either New Order is running out of troops, or they have shifted their focus” She said bluntly, folding her arms across her blood soaked chest.

Lily was already sitting on a chair, one of the nicer ones in the mansion, the place had had its ups and downs in the last five years, and while Laura wasn't too picky about nice things, Lily made the effort to make sure what was inside the Mansion was much more pleasant then the outside. From the outside it look like a blown out derelict, but from the inside, it was kept clean, things were organised. Every now and then a mutant they helped sneak out would send a gift, a cappuccino machine here, a portrait there. Lily fixed things up when she could...so the place was....homely. Any room that didn't have a hole in the wall she tried to fix up, that way it was harder to notice. Blinds could be closed after all.
But still, it was far from its old glory. When Laura got in, the first thing Lily did was to throw a roll of tissue paper at her. "No blood in the house!" Of course if Lily had told her once she had told her a million times. Of course when your mutation gave you stabby bits, it made blood. Good thing Liliya was here to keep things clean.

Laura caught the flung tissue paper and began to dab off the clots of already drying blood, Lily had become attached to the notion that this was still in some way a home. For Laura it stopped being a home when New Order almost exterminated the remaining X-Men in front of their children right here in the hallways of their once safe haven. It was just a base of operations to her now.
She understood that some of the younger mutants needed that homely feel when they got here, it made them feel safer, and for that Lily was commendable, Laura just didn't share the same view. Her skin was dyed crimson and she would no doubt need a shower to get it all off but at least she wasn't going to stain the furniture. She moved to toss the wrapped up used tissue wads in the small trash can in the corner, pausing briefly to inspect the bullet holes in her tank top.
As she sat on another small chair, facing her younger counterpart she stuck two fingers through the bullet holes in her attire and made a low grumbling sound “The rate that we're finding young mutants in this area is slowing, I don't know how much longer S.H.I.E.L.D will want to keep us here” She eyed Liliya, Laura knew that she was more emotionally invested in this than her. status !Ass-Kicking Words!Enough >.> Tags!Liliya Wearing! i702.photobucket.com/albums/ww23/DeltaJade/uniform1.jpg notes ! credits ! the mouse & the model @ caution 2.0

"The New Order have been trying to move us for five years, S.H.I.E.L.D. can't make us move. Nobody gets left behind. We're the X-men, if we're not fighting for mutants, then who is? The Brotherhood?" That's not what they needed, someone like Magneto to resurface and start a massive war...or worst, Apocalypse. Who knows what horrors he could unleash on the world if he felt like? Hell....if he ever got out of the habit of just having four horsemen, he could bring turn damn near any mutant into his loyal soldier. But if such a thing ever happened.....they'd be ready and willing. Unless things had changed, but if they had, Lily hadn't gotten the memo that said they no longer protect the people that fear and hate them.
And if things got really bad....there was always him. Jason Reynolds. The mutant who had walked out, supposedly never to return. He was a horrible individual. But he was a mutant, and surely there was some part of that black heart of his that cared about his people and what the world was inflicting on them. "Where there's a will and all that."

“I never said they would succeed” Laura quickly responded with a half smirk “I was just stating that I'm not sure how many are left behind, if what we're dong here becomes out of proportion to what we could be doing somewhere else, I think we may need to reconsider” Moving her hands up to the back of her head she pulled her hair loose from the tight ponytail, screwing up her eyes as she did.
This wasn't exactly speculation on her part, she knew S.H.I.E.L.D wanted to pull them out of the area, she had received contact over the radio but a few days ago, which she flat out refused, ignored then accidentally stomped on the receiver a couple of times... for good measure. Maybe in a way she felt like she was protecting Lily, not that she exactly needed it, but she had done it.
“I'm going to rinse this off, it gets itchy...” She said simply as she stood again and turned to leave the native New Yorker with her thoughts “Just think about what I said” Laura added cryptically before vanishing past the door frame.
